After 2 weeks of reading the forum I feel I am finally in the position to ask a couple questions so I can take the next step.

My wife bought me a GreenSmoke Kit 3 weeks back and since then I have smoked a single analog about every other day. The Throat Hit on the GreenSmoke 2.4% Strong has not been enough to go complely without which is one of a few reasons I am looking to move on. While I know GS isnt the best solution I'll have to say it did get me off analogs for the most part and made me beleive in the E-Cig method and that has been worth the $75 that was spent. But time to move on.....

Environment
I commute everyday so am in the car for about 2 hours each day. During the day I am at a PC but most likely cannot Vap at my desk but can charge. In the evening I am near a computer almost 100% of the time so USB vaping is an option if this is possible with an E-Go

Usage
I was smoking 1PAD for about 20 years of Marlboro Reds\Pall Malls. Throat hit is pretty important to me. One thing I've noticed with the GS kit is that the first 2 drags I take have decent Throat Hit but for any after arent near enough. I have to wait 1 minute or so to get another good one.

Questions

PV
I think one of the E-Go variations is most likely the best next step for me. The question is which variation
and any recommended accessories or add-ons? I beleive I am correct in thinking I can both fill carts and drip with the E-Go.

Dripping
With an E-Go how long does a drip load last?

Liquids
Any suggestion for some fluids to start out with and where to get them from? Initial flavors that interest me are Caramel, Coffee, Cocoa and then a Tobbaco flavor similar to Marlboro Reds. A fruit flavor would be interesting since it sounds like many seem to enjoy it.

I cannot think of any other info or questions for now. Much thanks to any suggestions, this forum has been a real help!

Battery- Ego "T" type with the five button push off/on in 1100mah (last longer and as I understand are higher voltage also)
Pair this with some Boge 2ohm CARTOS and good joose and you're good to go (well works great for me at least)

Dripping 5-10 puffs depending on so many variables

Joose: Personal choice really no two folks taste seems to be the same some good juices that *I* like/love

House from Copper Creek
555 or 3 & 5 from Madvapes (tobacco flavor pretty good and great price)
DK tab from a couple places (sorry forget the ones I have tried )
RY4 most folks like this, daily vape for many here

For TH (Throat Hit) go with higher PG in the mix (If given a choice) and nicotine levels 18-36 works for ME ( 36 for bad cravings especially early in the am- 24 most of the day and 12-18 late evening for better sleep)

I would avoid the carts pretty much cartos are SO MUCH better IMO and Boge ROCK in my view; if the kit comes with them use them if you want but you WILL most likley want cartos very soon ( I know I did) they will be much better option also for during your long commutes.

I smoked same things (but 2+ pad ) this works for me YMMV

Juices seem to be so incredibly subjective, that I'd strongly advise you to ignore recommendations from forums entirely. The best way to find a juice is to get your friends involved, and take a sample of their juices to drip for yourself.

I've lost $50 in juice alone buying things that other people said was awesome before actually trying it myself.

That said, what you can take from ECF would be the names of various juice vendors. Make your decision based on first person sampling, and online reviews concerning customer service. A great juice from a crappy company isn't worth it.

I can usually get 4-6 hits off of a drop with my ego, depending on the voltage I'm running. 3.0 vs 4.2, and the atomizer.

I didn't know one person that vaped when I started. I really wish I did. Still don't except for a couple of converts.

i would recommend a kgo/riva or a e power over a ego/ egos are nice but only run at 3.4v where the kgo/riva e-power is a true 3.7

I agree. The eGo is only 3.4 volts. I would get the E-Power 510 or the Kgo and both have 1000+ mAh batteries. And the E-Power batteries cost about $4 where as the eGo batteries cost $15 each. The E-Power batteries also last 4 times longer than the eGo batteries. They are all about the same physical size as the eGo, also. I would also get some blank cartomizers and start out with eliquid in the 24mg nicotine strange range. Here are several reputable suppliers:

Crystal Clear Vaping

e-Power

KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

Good Luck

I guess the better question to ask is what are some quality juice vendors. I don't know anyone that vaps. Although I have gotten alot of friends interested :)

Eliquids are very subjective. There are hundreds of supplier options. Most equipment suppliers also have liquid. For the RY4 flavor which is one of the all time most poplular eliquids made, I think Janty has the best flavor. Here is a thread that lists, rates and explains the RY4 flavor. Posts # 135 & 136:

I lost more than $50 but in the end, it was worth it to me to find 50 or so flavors that I absolutely love.

The hardest part is finding the juice so unless you have a few people close that can help you, just jump in and buy small sizes until you find some that you truly like.

As for ego's, a passthrough and a kit would do you justice. For add-ons, Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers, a drip tip or 2, and a few extra atomizers to try juices in. Atomizers are easier to clean and great for testing flavors.
