i ordered a really bad pv as my first, just to test out the waters and see how i felt about it, but i cant get it to work.

theres a foil covering on the inside of the cartridges sealing off the liquid and i wanted to know if that was normal.

if it is how do i go about getting it off?

any advice to a newb is welcome.

been lurking the forum for a few weeks trying to figure out the confusion that is e-cigs. Will be placing my first order tonight as we are taking a trip in a couple weeks. Got my supplies for the NicoStick ready to go. This forum has been a pleasure to read with all the helpful people and comments. Will be chiming in with some questions I've been kicking around in my head. Cautiously optimistic and hopeful about vaping as an alternative. Out for now.:D

How's it going all....newbie here from Ohio, just wanted to introduce myself. I've been quite curious like everyone else has..and haven't tried any sort of ecig as of yet, but I've been busy doing a little research here and there. I'm pretty excited about being a part of your discussions, and hopefully I'll be able to better educate myself and meet new people, anyhow just thought I'd be polite by saying hello, and hope to eventually get away from the analogs and switch to something a little healthier, so my journey begins

Hi all I'm in UK. Bin lurkin here all morning wishing I had found this site before I bought anything, anyone using Advanced-pro 84mm from ElectronicSmokinShop.com?

OMG!! the kit has just arrived while I'm in here, just opened it & guess what 8-o got to wait 8 hour for the battery to charge. :grr:

Why you need 8 hours for the battery, our battery 2 to 3 hours is enough. I'm curious that a lot of people here all need to recharge the battery for 8 hours.

The new member thread is closed so....

I got interested from a comment on another forum a few days ago and have spent hours here taking in all the info. Thanks to all that post here and for the ratings and tutorials.

I'm a long time MYO'er and so my savings isn't as great as some coming from premade analogs. (I'm learning the jargon but it's difficult. A glossary would help ;-) ). I smoke about 2 packs a day.

I decided, by the ratings and other searched to go with the Janty Dura C and also ordered some juice from ruyandirect. Waiting delivery and expect it next week (probably later for the juice).

My plan was to use the e-cig in certain circumstances but continue with the analogs (my intention isn't to quit smoking) but I've seen many reports here that say they've quit tobacco, so we'll see.

After reading the 'atomizer' thread - all of it - I almost decided not to jump in. Lol. It does make me wonder if there are any 'mature' products out there yet, but I figure any 'education' along the way may be well worth the experience. I just hope it works when I get it to have the experience that all of you have had even if sporadic for some, it seems.

Anyway, thanks again for your contributions. Hopefully I can return the favor to others eventually.

Regards,
Kent C

I'm new to the forums. Can't say I'm new to use e-cigs since I haven't purchased any just yet. I'm looking at a few different ones that are priced low since I don't have a lot of money to put out right now for it. I'm checking the blu product, the NPRO product, the Smoke Liberation Atom, and possibly the Smoke 51 Duo. I'm really looking for an e-cig that has a good hit with some decent vapor that uses cartridges and has the appearance of a regular cig without the tapered inhale portion that Smoke 51 NCIG has.

Any suggestions that you may have without me breaking the bank (under $100 with some cartridges) would be appreciated! Thanks again!
