Now that I have learned my lesson about priming a tank to make sure the cartomizer is filled with juice before using (Doh! Worst taste ever!), I LOVE these things! Don't know about longevity yet, but they are convenient, easy to use, and produce great vapor. I'm a bit worried about leaks so I keep them at home rather than carry them around in my pocket or purse. I've been using them on manual batteries -- one stealth, one diamond, and one original.

I got the tanks and have mixed feelings about them but mostly positive things to say. The tank can be really inconsistant but they hit hard and well. I am on my 4th refill and it still works great. Like previous folks have said it looks a little obsurd not really reasonable in public. I would definately try one out.

Alex (sir or Ms.?) yes and no. The 3 ohm replacement cartos will work on every adapter V4L sells. The 2.0 ohm range ones will on the wall adapter, on the car adapter only if rated 2.1+ ohms. The 1.5 ohm dc will only work on some of the wall adapters, same for the 2.0 ohm dc, but not the car adapter. At 5v the 1.5 ohm dc's will pull 3.33a at least, that's 1.23a more than the wall adapter. 2.0ohm 2.5a at the least, .4a more than what it's rated for. Not wise to use the pt on the computer, down right dangerous to use the dc cartos on it if you value your computer.

Iv been using the v4l tank on their ego battery and it's been working pretty well for the past two weeks but I think my cargo is near the end of its life. Does anyone have any suggestions for ore punched cartos for the 6ml tank? I just ordered some from mad vapes, 1.7 ohm single coil flanged punched carts, but Im wondering the difference between single coil and duel coil for my battery.

Here's something Jayvon (sir or Ms.?)-

Here's a quick reference to what cartos to get for the tanks. Will list the differences between each, and what devices they can/should be used on.

Dual coils-

Way a dual coil works is there is one grounding wire with two coils on it, what this means is they run in parallel. In other words a 1.5ohm dc carto is actually 2 3.0ohm coils. These were designed to be used with lower voltage devices (such as a 510 ego regulated to 3.2v) to simulate higher voltage vaping originally.

1.5ohm dc- Actual range is 1.4-1.6ohms. These cartos give maximum throat hit (th) and vapor production (vp) potential of the 5 types of cartos. Because they have two standard resistance coils inside, they give you the flavor profile of what you would expect from a cool cart. These are the hardest on batteries of all the cartos, so only suggest using them with xl's or the 808 egos. Will only work on the pt with a wall adapter, and that is hit or miss. For OMG users suggest not using them as well. Because of the amount of wattage generated by these cartos it will scorch certain juices when using any pv rated over 4.2v with them.

2.0ohm dc- Actual range is 1.9-2.1ohms. These give slightly less th and vp potential than the 1.5ohm dc, but also bring out even more flavor due to the 2 4.0ohm range coils. Still hard on batts, but you will get slightly more run time with these in comparison to the 1.5ohm dc's. These too are suggest for use with the king diamond or stealth series and the 808 ego V4L now sells. The pt situation is the same as that of the 1.5ohm dc cartos, they are hit and miss with the wall adapter and that's it.

2.5ohm dc- Actual range is 2.4ohm-2.6ohms. Lowest th and vp potential of the three dual coils, actually has less potential of both in comparison to a single coil 2.0ohm carto. The difference is the flavor profile. Every nuance of the juice is brought to life via the two 5.0ohm range coils. Truly shines with a complex flavor. Battery life is slightly less than that of the 2.0ohm single coil carto, but by far the best of the three dual coils. Will work on the pt with the wall adapter (at least has worked on every one I've tried), can be hit or miss with the car adapter.

Single coil cartos-

Single coils have been around for a long time. Cool carts and wow cartos both use this design. When using these in a tank form though the coils will clog up faster at lower voltage. These are best used with higher voltage devices (like a pt, the OMG, etc.) to get the longest life of the carto.

2.0ohm sc- Actual range is 1.8-2.2ohms. These are like a stronger version of a wow carto. They give great th and vp potential, but because of their low resistance bring out the most dominate aspect of the juice (even more so than the wow cartos). Battery life is better than that of any of the 3 dual coils. These can be used on the older batts without issue if you get them in the 2.1-2.2ohm range, same for the pt with the car adapter. Has worked on ever wall adapter tried. Think of them as a slightly lower ohm'ed wow carto.

3.0ohm cs- Same flavor profile as the 1.5ohm dc, but has the lowest vp and th potential of all 5 cartos available. Balances it out with two aspects, best battery life and are the only cartos for the tanks that can be used on every batt/device V4L sells.

Hope this helps, if any more cartos are released will update it.

Thanks Morandir that's a good profile of the cartridges :). I'm looking for the best thing for my 808 ego 6ml tank and I like a piece fly harsh th and a lot of vapor production so it seems like I should get a 1.5ohm duel cart cuz they don't gunk up as fast? I had the stock cargo in the v4l tank last about 2 weeks and then it vapes like a flooded carto and it tasted really bland so I soaked it in vodka and it vaped really good for the first day then went down hill. And I am also hoping for a brand recommendation. Does anyone else use an 808 threaded tank?
