Strike it double. Those types of batteries are infamous for not lasting well.

The Eleaf GS air 'M' tank takes non-sub-ohm coils (1.2ohm version) and might work on a subvod battery.
I'll try it later.....

I use the clone one from fasttech after I gave the original away (which is better)....

$6.69 GS Air-M Styled Bottom Coil Clearomizer - 3.5ml / 1.5ohm(8-20W) / chromed brass + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Thanks! You all are so helpful!
That M style looks nice! I searched the Eleaf one too. Nice! And the eleaf one hold 4 ml. That's a thought. ... Still working it all out. I'm a slow decider...unfortunately.
You mean the Eleaf one was better?

That is the #1 good trait to have in these situations.
I am the same, unless there is Beer involved.... :)

Mmmm. 1.2ohms is a bit low for the 3.7v battery.
I remember trying the Subtank Nano with the 1.2ohm Kanger coil and being unimpressed.
It should be 11 watts, but I'm not convinced.... seems more like single figures to me.

Eleaf do a 0.75ohm 'pure cotton/AIR' coil which would have more horsepower!

That's where I get confused. I do not understand all the ohms and volts stuff. :(

You don't need to know it all. Let's say your vape works for you, and it's making 7 or 8 watts (using the physics/math) then you'd be wanting at least a 7 or 8 watt 'new' vape. I'm used to a 14 watt vape during the day.

You remember the iJust2? That's almost 60 watts, so an incredible amount more powerful.

The possible combo I suggested earlier is more vapor than a basic set-up but a bit thin for me.

Thanks. That's helpful, but I still get confused with the different ohms in the tanks/heads. We use the in between cartomizers that V4L sells... 2.0 ohms. I would want at least a little more powerful than what I have now as it seems lacking in vapor and power. My husband would probably want what you have. He is who I am really trying to find the right match for at this time and he wants a good bit more vapor...but not necessarily HUGE clouds....if you know what I mean.

What was the combo you mentioned? The M air tank and the Subvod?

I think the Zeus was a high output battery... maybe 5.0v?

In which case, it's already vaping well over 10w.

For my money, the best 12-14 watts vapes are;
Aspire Nautilus*
Eleaf GS Air*
Innokin Endura (T18/22)

*The first two on that list really do need to go on a variable power mod/battery.

The T18 is fairly inexpensive ($28?), maybe you should take the plunge... something like that is so broadly suitable, even if it became a back up as it wasn't quite right.
It's almost certainly more like what you have than a Subvod type system... i.m.o.

Thanks. Yeah the Zues is 5.0 V

I use 2 different devices, a small one (EVOD clone $8) for pocket, not used so much anymore, and a box with a RDA on it which I don't pocket at all. You might even still like using the V4L stuff for going portable, if there's anything going for them but nostalgia (which you would still get to indulge).

A Nautilus, etc., doesn't really need a box battery, but I don't know of any good variable voltage or variable power stick mods that are small and have a solid 510 connector except maybe Provari.

We have been fairly happy with the 900 mAh Vapor Zeus dual mode battery but I hate the way we are stuck with the 808D threading which has basically left us with only the one option for the tank (well, with 2 sizes, 3.5 & 6 ml) which uses the undependable cartomizers and the tanks are not consistant (some leak, some don't work well and tastes burnt. The size we use is slightly over 5" and becomes nearly 8" long with a tank and tip. I do like the plastic drip tips. They feel best on my mouth. Although I have broken several tips when my ecig falls off my lap when I get up and hits the metal leg of computer stand. (I work all day on my computer at home) I should have learned better. :/ Neither of us liked the 'Smileomizer' that comes with the Zeus.

I thought someone said the Nautilus wasn't for me....and was a messy bottom fill.

There was a UK company that specialized in 808. They lost a lot of customers over the years and eventually gave into the 510 revolution.
I don't know how many millions they made, but we tried hard to ruin the party.
Criticism of an $8 shop charge for $2-worth of Chinese juice soon became the least of their troubles.
Luckily, they stopped attending Vape Conventions, which saved them much strife.

I quit using them in preference of the Eleaf GS range.
(Easier to get the coils from China.... big savings.... ninja activity...)

... and I don't like some Aspire business practices or the prices in the UK.

Apparently, Aspire are fairly priced in the US.

I'm in the US and would prefer US websites. I'd actually prefer US products but that is not very realistic so not as big a deal.

The Eleaf GS looks really good but I'm not sure it would hold enough juice for my husband. I might prefer it for myself though.
