Hey my new favorite forum people! I am so shocked, amazed, and inspired by the great community here. Truly, this place is an oasis of the internet, with people who rarely bicker and love to help one another!
A little background: I tried an njoy ecig many, many years ago, and it was good at the time, but didn't stick. The last two days I have been lurking these forums in a frenzy, attempting to absorb as much information as possible. Almost immediately, I ordered a Joye eGo-C just to get off the analogues and start my great adventure in the vaping world. I am already thinking about picking up a passthrough for it (can't find purple 1000mAh
) as a present if this sticks for two weeks. I, of course, am loaded with questions, but I will try to keep them minimal off the bat, so as to not overwhelm myself or get ahead of where I am in my journey!
My new endeavor has caught the attention of my 62 year old mother, who lives across the country. I am thinking of sending her the extra pieces I have for her to try her very own ecig, but she is inundating me with questions I can't hope to answer yet. So I turn to you, kind folks of the ECF, for some guidance!
1. She is concerned about the size and weight of the device. Should I get her a Kr8?
2. I am excited about the eGo-C, but she is still attached to analogs. What is the best first step for her?
3. What are the popular juices for people jumping the long train of analog addiction?
4. A question for myself: Should I try out a carto with my eGo-C battery? One of those wacky Boge (sp?) ones I've heard about? Do I need a special mouthpiece?
5. Is there a place to compare the form factors of different devices, such as length, weight, colors?
6. What are the next steps in improving my eGo-C? I know about passthroughs (I think...) but that's about it!
I will definitely hold off on other form factor questions as I have never held one of these new, awesome devices yet and, as such, barely know how they work! I can't wait to go crazy working on mods though, this is definitely my type of hobby!
Thanks in advance to the many wonderful people who have literally saved my life on these forums. People such as djwyman, Balthezar, and rabernet ask and answer the questions that plague all newbies, making this a seamless and wonderful experience. There are an ungodly amount of other people who I am indebted too, as well. All of you are so wonderful, thank you so much!
