New vaper, from belgium!

Hey all,


Im a 21 year old professional poker player, and have been smoking since i was 14ish, my teeth are starting to seriously detoriate from smoking+coca cola, and im too vain to let this happen hence im exploring all alternatives (obv already have a dentist appointment+bleaching scheduled )


Im from belgium and tried ordering my first electronic cigarette online today!
I ordered it at an american website that is willing to ship it to me, despite usually not doing so, but i have to declare im willing to take the chance of it getting stuck at customs ...

Im not sure what to do and im very confused

Money is not an issue.
And im looking for a Joye 510 T from a UK based webshop (to avoid customs)

Or a similair device, the things i want are the following ;

i also want it to work with refillable cartridges so i can mix, order liquids and have some fun with it.

It's probably a good idea to buy stuff from inside the EU as the EEA agreement of 1992 states that items legally sold in one member country are legal to purchase from another.

Some people have trouble with leaking using the tank system you're considering, so do yourself a favor and buy some 510 cartomizers as well. the 510 refers to the thread on the battery - so any 510 carto will fit. The 510 batterys capacity makes it unsuited for LR (=low resistance) cartomizers, though. So if you need more throat hit and vapour, consider an EGO or RIVA.

I'm very satisfied with my dealings with UK based E-Liquid, Cloud 9 Vaping - e-cigarettes, eliquid & e-smoking supplies shop, ivapour-elixir.co.uk, and they ship reasonably fast. How long the Belgian customs will handle the parcels is another matter.

Do get backups. And backups for your backups when you've gotten a feel for vaping.

Ah, you could have got most of that a fair bit cheaper. Plus you didn't really need those extra 510 carts. Everytime you buy a new 510 atomiser, it comes with a mouthpiece attached that can be stuffed with blue foam & used as a cartridge - blue foam -

thanks, yeah i think i definitely went overboard.

However thanks to my "career" money is not really an issue, however also thanks to my career (sitting down in front of a computer / or at a poker table) im not the healthiest, hence when i find ways to POSSIBLY better the quality of my life i spare no expenses.

Then again, if i can achieve the same thing with spending less, id be an idiot for not doing it

I thought those cartridges where mandatory every time u needed a refill.

In the future i should just buy some blue foam and eliquid and thats it then?
or would i also need to purchase the carts for the tornado tank?

I've never used Tornado tanks so don't know much about them Jack. But fairly certain you will have to buy new tank cartridges for them.

However, just about anything can be refilled several times over, especially cartridges. If the stuffing cartridges comes with starts to get a bit manky, you can then replace it with the blue foam.

I mainly use cartomisers these days - cartridges with built in atomisers. They are meant to be disposable, but even though I'm a very heavy vaper, I can refill & get several days from a Boge cartomiser & a week or more from a Dual coil cartomiser. These are the ones I like the best -

You wouldn't be able to use the LR (Lower resistance) cartomisers on the standard 510 kit you bought, but think you should be able to use them on the Tornado tank you bought

seems like its greatly possible to vape a month long for 10-20$

Fingers crossed for you Jack Fairly certain you shouldn't have any problems with customs when buying from the UK.

As for cost, even though you are a relatively light smoker, I reckon you will get through about 2ml of e-liquid a day plus the cost of cartomisers/atomisers. So 10-20$ is a bit on the low side. Still so much cheaper than real cigs though - plus of course so many other benefits that are priceless

2ml eliquid a day , at 15$/ 50ML of eliquid given the link uve provided = 15$/25 days + some blue foam that seems relatively cheap


Ofcourse im not counting the times u have to replace parts ^^

Jack, it does work out relatively cheap indeed especially if you shop around for good deals Cheaper still if you buy direct from China but you do have to then worry about customs, though health Cabin are brilliant with they way they pack everything. You may be able to get yourself some local Nic made in Belgium if you do some research, I heard there is a company over there that makes it. You also may want to look into some decent Mods other then the standard Ego type or stick type Batts, good Mods like Provari, Darwin, Reo, and so on are super to vape with. Pro Poker player huh, pretty cool, what's the biggest tournament you have one and your biggest $$$ win ?

Hehe, im afraid biggest tournament cash is relatively small like 5000$ or so, im not much of an Multi Table Tournament player to be honest

I play mainly Heads Up poker, which is essentially one on one

Sngs ranging from 100-1000$ (superturbos) which are the highest stakes available online
And cash game from 2$/4$ tilll 5$/10$ which is like beginner high stake in cashgame.

I mainly specialise in HU and HU Sit N Gos at that tho

So if i enter a game for 1000$ the most i can win is 1000$ so no really big "binks"

I also work for a website (im not sure if its allowed to link here, definitely dont want to advertise or anything because i get paid / entries i make / videos i upload etc) not per customer i attract.

They also did an interview recently with me around March when I first rose up to the "high stakes scene"
