hi all,

if you don't mind a ramble ;p

like i said im new here and new to electronic cigs
after having stopped smoking for +5years i recently started again (big thanx to the wife there ;) )
our life is different than it used to be and cigs arn't cheaper 5€/pak of 19 here
also we found our own smell/ashtray mouth in the morning not so good
i had heard of e-cigs so i looked into them a bit
sounded good, google showed me some 'review sites' that had a top 5 and experiances and coupons ... gues i dont have to explain those here. at the end of the evening i was convinced bit the bullet en ordered a starter set of green smoke and a couples set of V2
both analog like, 2peace design and from those sites great reviews.

first impessions:
green smoke difficult to pull, good taste like; menthols, most tabaco flavors, battery ok(ish) expencive but order in UK (no import tax)
s2: easy(er) to pull from, more different tastes but overall less good fo taste like; methol's , cherry congress rest rubbish
battery all but the super long drain fast and the fillers leak and give dopplets when smoking cheaper as green smoke but order in VS +about50% import tax so in the end around the same price and a very long shipment

they both advertised 1 filling is more than 1 pack of smokes
before we noticed my wife and i were going trough 2-3fillings a day (plus some analog smokes) and we were getting worried

i'm glad i found this forum
i've nof found out that a filling dousnt equal a pack that its normal to vape longer and more than a normal smoke ...
whish i found this place sooner :p

i do have enough questions its kinda difficult to see the forrest trough all the trees here
my wife likes the no hassle analog lookalikes and would like to continue down that road (i'm looking to refill the green smoke an v2 containers) i could use some pointers on the liquids i could use
i think i could be better off w a slightly bigger system both liquid container (i would like to see how mutch is left) and more smoke (stronger battery?) from w i found here im interested in an ego c type system. that apparently has a clear tank (clearomizer?)
i found a webshop that seems to be holand based E Liquid Nicotine | Nicotine juice for e cigs | Refill Juice Electronic Cigarettes (im from belgium)

so questions:
w liquids to use 1 for refill and 2for bigger system?
can we continue w the v2 gs system or would it be better to go for a different analog like cig for the wife?
for me; w do i need for a workable ego c system joytech/others?
are there people here that have good experiance w european based shops?

any imput is greatly appreciated couse i do think im on to something here but wat we have now will nothold us for longif that makes sense :p

Hi and welcome. The Tank you're looking at is the Vivi Nova and it looks funny/ too large (3.5 ml) for the eGo-C
vivi nova tank screw original
Also they're asking almost $20 U.S. Here it's sold for $8.95 U.S.
The Mini Vivi Nova is 2.0 ml and looks much better on the eGo.
As for the eGo-C "tank" system it's only atomizer+ cartridge and are prone to leaks.

i could be wrong but i think that is a different one i was looking at a CE4 Clearomizer i think its 1.6ml
but if i read this correctly it would be better on a ego-c battery than the origional atomizer + pearce cartridge system?

i'm just hoping it would get me through the day. i realy don't have a clue how long 1.6ml would last (and the battery of cource )
for comparison i smoked slightly less than a pack a day (marlboro menthol normal)

CE4 is a Stardust and is non rebuildable. The CE5 is a rebuildable Stardust. Make absolute sure you buy the long wick as the short wick have wicking problems.
Here's the CE5 CE5, Clearomizer, Long Wicked
The Mini Vivi Nova is far superior to the Stardust in quality IMO. I own both.
Here's an ECF listed/ verified Vendor located in China- highly regarded, has a huge following and reasonable prices:
Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Edit:
ould be better on a ego-c battery tan the origional atomizer + pearce cartridge system?
Yes that's the awful "tank" system- atomizer+ cartridge.

In regard to the coils with a twist my best advice would be to not put too much power to each ohm. My target watts is usually around 8-10, but to each his own. It's all about preference.

Volts ^ 2 divided by ohms = watts. Start off on low volts then increase to the desired result. (warmth, taste, etc.)

Welcome to the forum!

Hello, and welcome!

I, too wish I had found this forum first.

If your wife wants to stay with the v2, they're OK quality, but a little on the expensive side. Don't throw away those empty carts, they can be refilled many times. Find a place to get e-juice and follow one of these steps: The v2 comes with boots on the carts. Use the one that does not have the tit inside, and fill it about 2/3 full, no more. Next, take the cart and SLOWLY push it down. If you see juice coming out the top, it's full. No. 2 method: Take a paper clip and stick it in the plastic end piece on the cart to pull it off. Drip juice onto the side wall, being careful not to get juice in the hole. It should take about 15 to 20 drops. Replace the end cap.

The Vivi Nova you pictured is the regular size, and you would be better off with the Vision Mini Nova. The Joye eGo is a very good unit. If you order one, I would see if you can upgrade it to the Twist. The Twist is a variable voltage model that will give you more options to "dial" in the voltage. The Twist will give better performance with the Vivi Nova.

I started out with the v2, and just made the switch to the eGo Twist 1,000 mAh. The difference is like between day and night. You will get more vapor, the batteries will last longer between charges, and will also save more money in the long run, as the juices to can buy are cheaper than trying to keep up with the pre-filled carts. You will also have a broader selection of flavors, and more tasty one's to boot.

tnx for the tips.
luckely we haven't tossed to much carts jet :)
i have 2 normal evo bateries and 1 1000 twist comming (and a selection of e-juice)

the ammount of bands/flavors of the e-juices is overwhelming, i realy have to hold myself back ;p

keep telling myself (and the wife) it will be cheaper in the long run ;)
