Not health necessarily, but I've been vaping for about a week using pg juices. I seem to have a rash, or kind of like chapped lips on my bottom lip. Redness, and kind of rash looking. I've never had that before, is it possible that it is due to the vapor? I'm not going to vape today to see if that helps, but that would really suck because it has been helping me a lot quit smoking. Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe a PG allergy, maybe dehydration (typical for new vapers, can chap lips). There is also a common acne condition associated with quitting cigarettes, though that doesn't sound much like what you're describing.

Switch to VG and drink lots of water. My sense is that VG dehydrates you more (more vapor, more of your body's water exhaled), but I might be wrong about that.

Somewhere in time.
It's definantly possible for juice splashing on your mouth to cause sores-wipe immediately if this happens. And I would be willing to bet the chapped lips is dehydration.........

If it persists after a few days drinking plenty of water, I would also go talk to a medical professional, though as I said, almost willing to bet it goes away on it's own if you keep hydrated and keep free of juice on your skin.

I've been having the same thing going on. I haven't come to any particular conclusions yet, but it is improving. Thinking it maybe all PG juices, I started diluting them with some VG. Of course that diluted the flavor some, but was OK. All the new juices I buy have a lot more VG in it. If it's all PG, I don't buy it. I may end up going to all VG before I'm done. Started making sure I washed my hands more often to remove any juices from my hands & touching my face, which I do more than think. Just rinsing off my mouth area every so often seems to help. I think my lips get the worst from occasionally taking a drag and getting a little juice in my mouth from the cart. I use a chapstick/lip gloss a lot to help with dryness. It might also be caused from our bodies detoxifying from all the garbage that in analogs. I don't have any idea how long for all those toxins to completely leave our bodies.

I've been a heavy water drinker for many years, so think I'm OK there. Yesterday I was talking the guy at a health food store. He said one of the best things for hydrating is to drink at least 1/3 bottle of Gatorade a day in addition to water. I'm not wild about the the stuff, but may force myself to do that.

Maybe I'll get it figured out someday, but I'm not going to give up on vaping because of it. There's probably not one single answer that works for everyone, but I keep trying to come up with some kind of answer. You might want to talk to your pharmacist & ask what he'd recommend. There may be some OTC that may help.

I broke out with 3 really bad cold sores on my upper and bottom lip 3 days after I quit smoking, I haven't had one since i was a kid and I don't remember ever having 3 at the same time. I read in a few places that this could happen after you quit not sure why. I just took some lysine and used abreva. if its not a reaction to pg it should pass
