New vaper here!!

I just starting vaping about two weeks ago. The wife and I decided it was time to stop smoking and this seemed like a great move to make. We have both been analog free for two weeks. Haven't even touched a single cigarette since starting up with the e-cig. This has already been a lifesaver. I was amazed at how quickly changes were noticed. The wheezing and coughing at night were the first things we both noticed. How horrible cigarettes actually smell was the next.

Can't wait to start reading and making my own juice!

One question about the forums, do I need a certain number of posts in order to start a thread in the vendor section?? I ask because I really felt the need to leave a comment about Eric and DiscountVapers. What a great guy and store!! He is exactly what customer service should be and rarely is these days.

To answer your question...yes. I believe it's 5 posts (been a while since I looked at new members rules) before you can post outside of the new members area. And I agree...discount vapers is great!!

Wow! This place is so active. I love it. I had to go back 3 pages to find my post. Thanks for all the warm welcomes!!

We have started out small. I got the DV eGo starter kit and some Smok RBC clearomizers. Definitely prefer the bottom coil over the top coil that came with the kit. Just ordered a couple pyrex today so we can try out some of the cinnamon flavors. I have been ordering juice like crazy, I'm definitely addicted. Grabbed a bunch of trial sizes from EC Blend. My wife likes the menthol/minty flavors so I got her Perilous mint, candy cane with extra flavor and Dragons Breath. She loved them all so I went back and ordered the 30ml bottles. For myself, I like to try all kinds of stuff. From EC I got RY4, 7L Hopscotch and Cake Batter with a shot of strawberry. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with any of them. I let them all steep for 2 weeks and they still have an alcohol/chemical like taste. If you smell a bottle of vanilla extract, that's all I taste when I vape the EC Blend flavors. Very disappointed. I'm putting up with it on the cake batter though because the exhale tastes just like cake batter, love that flavor. This was the reason I found this site. I was looking around to see if any sites had members that traded flavors they didn't like and my search brought me here.

I also placed an order with Aroma Juice to try their WTA flavor. Got my wife the menthol, she loves it!! I got the Turkish blend and it just doesn't have much flavor.

Finally, stopped at a local shop, Vapor Trails, and bought a bunch of flavors (they sucked me in with their buy 2 get 1 free on the 5ml and 10ml sizes). Pineapple, buggle gum, Tuscan tobbacco blend, Virginia tobbacco blend, ring-a-duck (strawberries and cream flavor), Gods Tears (a chilled pomegrante taste), cheesecake and a few other menthol flavors for the wife. I absolutely loved them all, except maybe the bubblegum, too sweet for an all day. Even though they make the juice to order, they all have been great without steeping and even better with a week of steeping.

I'm having so much fun with this that I started reading on how to make my own juice. As soon as I get that whole thing figured out I will be ordering. Have to get my post count up so I can start asking questions over there.
