My boyfriend and I have been vaping now for a few months. Great taste and super cool that we can vape pretty much anywhere.

At first- all was good but we have both developed major allergies, (runny nose, constant coughing and throat itching) in the last 2 weeks that we can't seem to shake. Almost feels the way I felt when I use to smoke cigarettes. Hope we get thru this.

Could be the PG. Try a 100% VG e-liquid.

I'm pretty new here so can't offer any real advice as such but since you are both experiencing the same thing it's likely that it's something that you are both using. As others have stated it's possibly juice related. I certainly can't take high PG juices but I discovered that almost instantaneously and find 70-80% VG that works for me.

Have you been trying new juices lately? Been buying from a different supplier? Have you been buying different replaceable hardware lately - atomisers/clearomisers with different cotton/silica? Process of elimination should work it out.

    Hello @KarennJose. Wecome to ECF!

I think maybe your in a bit of a 50/50 situation - part of the problem is your still going through the process of giving up cigarettes but also it sounds like your body may have a slight unease with PG.

    I would try 100% VG.

The runny nose may be condensation due to exhaling through your nose (it happens to all vapers to one extent or another).

    Welcome to the forum.

Hi and welcome! Are you sure it's not just allergy season where you live? This time of year by me (NE US) everything ends up with a layer of green pollen on it unless it rains.

There's also the matter of your bodies no longer having all that cigarette stuff going into your lungs. Many people who stop smoking cigarettes can experience coughs for quite some time after as your lungs continue to try and clear out the "gunk". It usually resolves in several months.

And then of course it could be related to the vaping juice or even method you're vaping (MTL/DL and whatnot). It's certainly not a bad idea to change up your juice choice and see if it helps. Good luck!
