Hi guys!

I quit smoking analog cigs because my gf was sick and tired of the smell and wanted me to improve my health and to be honest I hated the smell and I wanted to improve my health as well. Anyway, took to vaping a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! Haven't felt like an analog since and I love the fact that I can vape almost anywhere! :)

I started on an analog look alike (Jai brand I bought in Rome) which stopped charging after a week then I bought an ego-t (I think it's a fake though) and I'm loving it! I'll never go back to analog smoking again :)

Anyway I'd like to purchase either an original/authentic joyetech ego-t or another brand/model which is recommended by you guys... Can you guys make some recommendations? Also, what's the difference between an ego-t and an ego-c?

Cheers and thanks for any advice!

Hi @gyrex and welcome to the forum. I would recommend an iStick 30 watt (2200 mah) mod/battery, and the Aspire Nautilus Mini/full size. Both are user friendly and gives you room to grow into other advanced areas of vape (such as sub ohm and dripping) with just the purchase of another tank down the road.
From a thread I read yesterday I believe the iSmoka eLeaf 30 watt brand is owned by joyetech. I have 2 of the iStick 50W and love them. The Nautilus was my game changer when I wanted to stay off the cigs. Paired with my iStick it was like a guarantee I'd never go back to the analogs. Congrats in your journey and good luck.

Hello and welcome to the forum... I don't own any egos, so I can't help you out there... regarding the posts, all you have to do is follow along and reply to this one until you have 5 posts and you are past the 00:25 of the hour.

BTW, I own an iStick 30 and use two types of tanks: a kangertech genitank for my high nicotine (12mg) juices and an innokin iSub for my low nicotine (3 mg).

Oh, is there some way around the 'starting new thread' limitation? I need to start a new thread in the polish section but can't until I post 5 messages...

I'd suggest a quick hello , it will be number 3, then go say hello on a couple new member threads, gets you to five. Then you have to wait till the forum resets at 25 after the hour and you're good to go for other areas of the forum.

Welcome :)

eGo-T, eGo-C makes no difference.. they are both old and tired systems.

The 'original' eGo-T (tank system) is now a museum piece... those tiny cartridges were just dreadful and Joyetech kept selling and selling when they already knew the all the other manufacturers had overtaken them in e-cig technology.

The battery is called the "eGo". The other letters refer to the Tank/Changeable system attached to the battery.

I would not recommend any eGo system at all in 2015. Joyetech should stop selling them unless they pair the battery with the best modern tank (clearomizer) systems. They do sell those systems, but the shops like to sell the customers outdated junk first.

Thanks! What would you recommend in place of the ego then? I like the smaller battery and analog look and feel...

If you want something simple, then get another battery and get a modern tank (or two, or three).

There are many brands of 650mAh type batteries on sale. You could buy a Kanger EVOD, 650mAh, a Joyetech battery (without the kit) or an Aspire battery with a K1 glass tank.

Eigate Aspire K1 - EGO Glassomizer BVC

or an Innokin CLK kit. The possibilities are many.

I have tried all these Joyetech "kit" e-cigs and none of them are worth buying i.m.o.
eGo C, eGo T, eGo CC, ecom, ecom C.
The batteries are FINE (very good quality, actually)
The tank systems are poor, expensive, unreliable.

Good advice! I'll be buying more tanks because I can see the stem on one of the tanks is already out of alignment.

I just checked out the provape p3 and it looks gorgeous! Will pick one up unless someone can recommend other options as well?

Oh, is the provape a vaporiser and not a battery? How does that work?

The Provari (by Provape) is a top of the range battery/mod system. Maybe THE top of the range battery, or "MOD" e-cigarette. It is a tube mod, meaning it takes a battery into the tube. The batteries are numbered things like 18350, 18450/18500 or 18650.

The 18 = the width of the battery (quite fat).
The 350, 450, 650 is the length of the battery. 3.5cm, 4.5cm, 6.5cm.

There are even 26*** series batteries. They are HUGE!

Tube mods are long... especially in an 18650 casing with the chip.
Box mods are shorter and fatter and squarer!
