But from reading all this it seems like im gonna be dropping over $200 for a proper REO setup... wish I knew about this sooner :(

1) it sounds like a lot of money, and don't get me wrong.. $200 IS a lot of money but when you have it in hand I'm sure you'll also see it's well worth the price tag.

2) if you don't fall in love with it rest assured they hold their value very well. A REO classifieds ad rarely goes more than a day before it's sold. REOs and ProVari are two mods that are always in stock but also sell in the classies like hotcakes.

CONGRATS!

When I started I got one of the smok ones from Robert when I ordered my Reos, 1.5LR. Went to purchase a couple of HH357s only to find there was a lead time on them. On top of the higher price that detered me from buying them as I could not & did not want to wait. So I bought ybe regular bridged 1.5LR shorty Ciscos. The Ciscos performed much better than the smok atty. I was very happy with the Ciscos so I continued to use them. They are much easier to flood compared to RBAs & quickly made me learn how different squonking techniques. Soon I was squonking without ever having to draw when squonking or overflowing into the drip well.

Then I debridged the Smok atty & it didn't perform any better for me. I purchased unbridged 1.5LR Ciscos which performed better than the unbridged Smok but I still get a better vape with the bridged Ciscos. But I started with Reos & Ciscos so I have no experience with anything else. To this day I still like how the Ciscos perform & keep them as backups in the truck just in case a RBA fails on me (never had to use one yet though).

i know you won't see it that way, but compared to what i was paying for cigs AND all the crap i bought before stumbling upon REOs, 2 bills is amazingly cheap.

Just think of it as you've paid your dues with the other stuff and now you're going to the big leagues. It does seem a little overwhelming at first but if you watch Stats, Vapdiver, and super's video's you'll see how easy building a RM2 is. you will want to go that way sooner or later.

yeah i was definetly a heavy smoker.. 30 cigs or more a day.. im gonna think about this one for a while cuz i know you guys arent going anywhere. its just that i recently bought 4 kanger protanks for my smoktech SID and also bought 15 1.8ohm coils for them. so it seems like a waste if i were to just buy a REO at this moment. so im gonna use this for a while and continue to research, and maybe when all these coils are burnt out i will re consider this. and i will definetly be going with a REO after reading about what everyone had to say about them. But i totally appreciate everyones help on this subject and i am grateful. Thanks again fellas

Cheers, Matt

My take on cartos...it's free advice from someone you don't know  My thread is below. My first two coils took all of three minutes. More really...but it's because I was dumb and used gauze which was a pita to work with. If I got cottom it would have been WAY faster.

You are in Toronto...a pack and a half of generics will be over $300/month!
