Hey all, just picked up vaping and want to get into vaping but having a set back, hoping those more knowledgeable than myself can help.

I chose a vaporfi pro 3 as it seemed to be nice, simple just what i wanted. I watched youtube reviews, read internet reviews everything seemed good. But while i followed the directions for loading it im getting a problem.

Everytime i heat it from cold after heating a secondit will "pop" and shoot out a few drops of liquid as well as vapor, but if i take a drag after while its warm it seems fine until it cools off again. This is VERY annoying and just wanna know what is going on and how do i fix this? Any help would be appreciated

Your problems may not be related to this upcoming comment; but I would not recommend Vaporfi, nor should you trust any reviews whatsoever on this brand.
I'm afraid, what you read about 'everything seemed good' is what Vaporfi want people to think. They then charge you totally unacceptable amounts of money for everything from hardware, to liquids, to replacement parts. The 'pro 3' is a basic $25 e-cig.

Many e-cigs spit from time to time. Maybe it's normal, maybe it's a little strange. Either way, don't worry too much unless it's totally unusable for you. If so, then you should send it back and test Vaporfi's customer service.

For me, the entire business is little short of a scam. Charging $119 for a $29 product makes companies greedy and therefore totally untrustworthy.

First, I will +1 to what DJS said... they are overpriced for what they sell. Also, those reviews on their website, I wouldn't trust... When evaluating a company, I look to see if they have truely free comments. You'll ALWAYS get someone with poor pronunciation, or someone who gives it a 1 star due to one reason or another... Everyone on their reviews give it 4 or 5 stars, has perfect capitalization, always capitalizes the company name, and has no "dumb" reviews. I actually give the site more credtability when I see a review saying "one star because it leaked on me" or "one star because it took five days for it to ship to me"... that means they post honest reviews. Out of their posted 70+ reviews, with not one being negative... that leads me to raise an eyebrow like spok.

Now, assuming your device is fine, popping is generally a sign your mod is working. When you heat up a juice rapidly, it tends to boil it quickly... and a small pocket of juice will heat up so fast, it pops... it's just how it wicks. Many atomizers have a spitback guard just for that reason. If you want, you can try lowering the power if you can to reduce it, but it will of course give you less vapor. the only other option is to try a different atomizer or coil, and hope it doesn't pop as badly.

Thanks alot cheallaigh, ill try that.

On the vaporfi comments thats what im finding out, i never trust a companys reviews on their own page but i thought i was being dilligent as i researched that specific model and every site i saw and youtube review were positive.

It was only until after the purchase i saw reviews on the company itself, which i dropped the ball on that front :-/

It's frustrating. However, by rip-off standards, many of us fared worse. My original outlay of $800 on totally useless garbage is still hard to beat.

I've been cross-referencing brands/prices/reviews for 4 years and the e-cigarette industry is full of some of the most self-serving people in any I have come across. Commission sales, recommendations for products which everybody knows are re-branded products at 3 or 4 times the price. I know this is business and a product which is revolutionary but the contrast between the consumers (who are kind and enthusiastic/supportive) and the reviewers is stark beyond compare.

The most-visited review sites (often linked to on here and other forums) are nearly all totally fake.
The key to just how fake they are usually shows up by the brands they recommend.... the list is endless and never exhausted really.
Of course, there are levels of taking advantage of the consumer and not all brands are bad.

One particular company gives the impression of one thing and then boasts to potential business partners about profits of 400% +, people not fully understanding what they are buying and taking them for as much money as possible. It doesn't happen in many other consumer product markets (there is too much competition and people understand the prices & product).

Most YT reviews are based on either commission or large amounts of freebies. It's also worth mentioning that some of the most-respected reviewers are after our money at the end of the day... they don't care about the gospel of vaping, only the gospel of the $$.

Yeah, it's become a sad existence in vape land! Most all of the YouTube reviewers are bought and paid for anymore, just holding their hand out for their next shipment of free gear, it's pretty disgusting honestly.
Even on this forum there are at least ten threads a week in the new members section "How do I get free crap?" "I've got these great ideas on how to do reviews, I just need someone to give me the gear!"
It's become a pathetic joke!

I got really lucky when I started... went to a newly opened shop, 5th one, by a guy I knew. the kangers were perfect for me and my hubby, where they might not be for everyone. this because he knew us and he didn't pick something just to sell it. online... that's the real downside, reading reviews, and the lack of trust for the exact reasons listed here in this thread. downside of the personal experience, we had to wait two years of still smoking, till he had a shop that wasn't several hours driving one way(instead of the current hour or so roughly one way now), to make sure we got what we needed and understood the basics. not everyone can do what we did.

Figured it all out finally, cheallaigh's suggestion worked perfectly but it happened again and again so i kept having to clear it, i was stumped. After research i found a post complaigning about same issue and it was found he needed to hold it vertically as opposed to how youd hold a cigarette.

Problem solved no more flooding, rookie error. Hope it helps another new vaper if they suffer from same issue.

Last update guys, but had the endura t18 for a few days now and it is such a better unit. I have had zero problems with it and it is doing exactly what i wanted it to do for almost half the price of vaporfi pro 3.

Every day my pro 3 kept flooding even after going through two atomizers and using the great clearing tricks i received on here. Now i will not crucify vaporfi as i really dont have the time to file a warranty claim and i fully believe everyone can make a lemon from time to time and deserve a fair chance to make it right. I just want that clear.

But this endura t18 is exactly what i hoped vaping to be, good mouth to lung, no spitting, battery stays charged forever, the vapor just... "tastes" better. Now i found my unit.

Thank you so much to everyone who offered advice, between this endura, and vapewild i think i found my place, and i surely look forward to staying part of this great community :)
