You can buy flavors with nic from overseas and have it shipped to you though, right? I'd buy it from a different company. There are lots and lots of places to get inexpensive flavorful juice that is clearly marked.
Yeah good call i reckon... shouldn't be long now before 1st order arrives anyway. 30pg/70vg 6mg...looking fwd to seeing how that goes... just gotta read up on BrotherBobs links re coil/atty most suitable for me...its been said the tank i have is all good...

Hi and thanks Brotherbob. Getting thru the reading and clearing up a fair bit of uncertainty.... so now that i have pretty much nailed my (proper) starting point at 6mg nic , 70vg/30pg I need to experimwnt with my settings a little. One query relating to my current setup (fuchai 213 with aspire clieto atty/ .016ohm coil): I read somewhere that tc operation is more suited to sub ohm setup as opposed to wattage - can someone pls confirm this and maybe elaborate on why?
PS ive tried both but when i change to TC at 100deg c vape seems tastier and less harsh on my throat - bigger cloud too which i like

Welcome! ...Just make sure you pay attention to your nicotine intake because getting too much can cause quite a few side effects with your health (nasty headaches come to mind).... The PG/VG ratios, the wattage, coil resistance and other variables, will come in time through experimentation and lots of reading.... Don't stress over such matters or rush to learn them too fast... Part of the cool thing about vaping is in having all of the fun with learning and experimenting with it.

Yep correct...also read beginners should avoid sub ohm vaping so now that i already have this setup on the go need to continue learning fast
So just found more info (seems tc actually doesn't work with this coil as it is constructwd with Kanthal??) apparently best performance comes at a range of 70 - 100watts

I started with 36MG of Nicotine and it about blew my socks off :w00t: ..... Yeah vaping is one of those kind of activities that is not only beneficial because it helps people get off of smoking tobacco but it is also fun learning the many variables ..... Yeah it seems like there is an overload of info to digest but if you take one variable at a time, you will eventually get to the point where you will be enjoying the optimal smoke (vape) .

It's a different vaping style. Sub Ohming in Wattage modes at higher Wattages (like 70-100) creates a vape that sort of gushes at you and it tends to be very warm. You're pumping a certain amount of power into the coil. Temp Control only uses enough power to keep your coil at a certain temp; really what it is doing is not letting your coil go over a certain temp. So you can peg it at a temp that works for you and keep on vaping. TC is pretty nice. But in Wattage mode if you stick to the range that is listed for your coil, and that range works on your mod, and you have decent batteries, you'll be fine. Just keep your coils wet. Don't let your tank run dry.

Yoey, one point, you don't HAVE to vape within the recommended wattage on any coil, you can start experimenting lower wattages if you prefer it (you may also save yourself a bit of juice, potentially, and save your throat if you are getting huge hits of nicotine.) You are correct, you can't TC Kanthal. Often to get a TC coil, you will have to build one (though manufacturers are starting to make them out of stainless steel, not sure about your tank). Also, I think 6 mg is a reasonable place to start, especially if you are sub-ohming. I didn't get nic overload doing that, and I was pretty much chain vaping a lot. It was hard on my throat and I ended up with a small, MTL tank that I vape at way lower wattage, and I really like it.

Now that you are starting out the nice thing will be that you can try different things.... A new tank you can fit on your mod is usually not the greatest expense. So if either your throat gives out (I had very sensitive smoker's throat, and didn't feel good sub-ohming at first), or you can't seem to get satisfied with the nic level you need, you do have options. That said, a lot of people start out sub-ohming and do great with it, so I hope that's the case for you. :)

Ooh you have the new cleito exo, I'm presuming you do cos your using 0.16 coils. I don't have that tank yet, I'm still using the original cleito but the cleito tanks are very simple. I wouldn't worry about "beginners shouldn't sub ohm."
Just try find a wattage you like :) the fuchai 213 is a very nice looking piece of kit too, if I didn't have an alien I'd be buying it.
An what they said don't try use that coil in tc.
