Hi everyone
I just signed in the forum since I would like to buy a vape to get over my use of nicotine.
I'm a really nervous person, that gets annoyed pretty often for any reason, that's why I smoke since if something bothers me and I don't have a cigarette I might keep thinking and bothering about it for days (and in the worst case I don't even sleep). I've been using cigarettes this way for a couple of years without getting addicted, but recently I'm getting way too heavy with the nicotine and I realize that I have to quit as soon as possible before it becomes an addiction.
I don't know anything about vape, that's why I'm asking you: what would you advise? Any kit in particular or E-juice?

Nicotine is really not the best way to handle stress. There are many mental relaxation techniques that you can use. I don't know, maybe seeing a psych would be of good help.

If you are looking for a starter kit, myvaporstore is just one. Many other vendors are listed in the sub-forum for...vendors.

Also, I learned a lot by just talking one on one to other Vapers about their experience and learning that way.

Good luck.

I would suggest a pod system (Juul or MyBlu) with a higher nicotine level since you appear to be an infrequent "stress smoker". These will get more nicotine into your system faster so that you get the effect closer to what you get with a cig.

If you decide vaping works, THEN consider looking at a regular mod with lower nicotine juice that you can use more often, as needed, or go to lower nicotine levels.

Well, stress is among the main reasons why people start smoking.
Anyway I don't know any Vapers, that's why I'm asking here
Thank you anyway

Welcome to the forum. I'm new here as well. The folks around here are very friendly and helpful. I must warn you though that I can be annoying. If you are interested in a portable(ish) Mouth To Lung higher nicotine fix that has adjustable air flow and power may I suggest the Wismec CB-80. Couple it with some nic salt from 30-50mg and it can be quite satisfying. It requires a replaceable 18650 battery to purchase separately as well as a charger, but if you stick with vaping it will be well worth the trouble.

Here is a photo of it next to the Smok Nord pod and a 18650 battery...

I am resisting the temptation to play armchair psychiatrist.

I assume you want an alternative nicotine source to smoking cigarettes. If that's the case, don't cheat yourself on the liquid. Buy something on the strong side of recommended. You can always dial back or vape less. I'd recommend a Vladdin RE Refillable Pod Kit with a bottle of fruity salt nic at a strength of at least 30 50mg. It's affordable, simple, compact, enjoyable, and effective.

Hi and welcome,
How many cigarettes are you smoking per day?
Where are you located?
Are you under a doctors care for your anxiety?
Do you have a vape store in your town?

Cheers

Hi thank you
it depends on the day, yesterday I was stressed and I smoked 4 cigarettes. The day before I smoked a couple. Let's say that a pack lasts at least a week and a half.
I am in Notthingham right now, and there is a vape store, a small one.
Yes I was under a doctor, it's not required anymore.

Welcome to the friendly bunch....loads of advice here :)

I would suggest one of the starter kits...usually most vape websites have a section marked starter kits...you could choose one or two that you like the look of and then come back here for advice :)

Make sure that your nic level is the correct one for you.

Hello and welcome. An AIO that you can refill and replace coils would give some flexibility you won't get from simple pod systems. The Aspire Nautilus AIO would be a good starting point. The coils are easily resourced and will be available for may years.

It's wise to do research online and to ask fellow vapers on this forum for advice. Fact is, there are many different kinds of vape setups, and you won't know what will work best for YOU until you buy and use one. And depending upon what you like and don't like about your first setup, it can help you to decide what features to look for with your next setup. Most of us on this forum have tried and used many types of vape setups, and probably didn't learn what we prefer until trying a few out in real life.
