Ill build my own coils. But will not make my own E juice yet. All the power to you for making e juice that seems kind of difficult..
It's really not if you have syringes and I get the VG/PG already mixed to 50/50 also the nic I use already mixed to 50/50 100mg and use ejuicemeup calculator. Mix 100ml at a time. Takes me about 20 min to make and clean up. I am kind of a sloth with it meaning I don't worry if it is perfect on measuring except on the nic. I do have to add extra VG because I like my juice at 50/50 and my flavors are all PG based.
It´s not rocket science! You just have to mix two different components (base and flavouring) and safe a load of money.
I vape about 10ml a day. Here in Germany premade liquids (we don´t call it juice but liquids) cost about 5 Euro (5,50$) per 10ml. I order my DIY stuff from a manufacturer who published extensive evaluation by an external institution (including before after pics of lung tissue) and pay about 5 Euro (5,50$) for 100ml of liquid! Thats one tenth! And I would prefer my DIY liquid above any other premade liquid I have ever tasted! Do it!
I think the question posed by most here given the original topic is: Should a new vaper be rebuilding and diy for e-liquid?
I say no. In my opinion the vast majority of new vapers need the consistency and convenience of a replaceable head and manufactured e-liquids.
Sure buy with the future in mind and get a 30-50W regulated mod capable of taking you into the future, and get a tank/atty that includes an rba deck. This way a new vaper can tippy toe into the world of rebuilding, or dive in head first if they desire to.
As to DIY: A new inexperienced vaper wouldn't know what flavor profiles they prefer or are possible, and could end up with lots of e-ilquid they didn't like. I say find a few staple flavors and after sometime vaping, then tip toe into the DIY arena.
Most of all, stay off cigs and have fun!
