My experience to this point has been so rapid-fire (rapid "cease-fire" is more accurate, but you know...)
--I started on the NJOY King path mentioned by the OP very recently (two weeks ago)
--Found them to be rather short-lived, and within 5 days had sucked down about 10 of them.
--moved on to try Mistic, Blu and others in order to experience a variety of brands and price levels. Loved the size and feel of the NJOY king and missed it, but the larger, and longer lasting, Mistics and Blues weren't as hard to get used to as I thought they'd be.
--3 more days passed and I had rechargeable versions of all of the above.
--Now, 15 days since my first ever eCig of any kind, I am rolling with an eGO and multiple liquids, and have dwindled my on the go rechargeables to Mistic. I have a couple disposables lying around with various experimental flavors, but don't plan on them being anything other than a backup novelty every now and again.
--can't quite declare a verdict on the liquids I have on hand, but I know the Ego or something like it is a good way to go.
--I just need to find better liquids and learn more. Right now I have clove, Tobacco, and Mocha flavors by E-liquid.
--All plenty good, but not "the one." Kinda like dating that way.
Can't wait to try more. I live in a very paraphernalia-friendly part of the US and brick-and-mortar shops are quite numerous.
I thought I was a hopeless case with my love for Camel Blues and Marlboro Red 72s--and only tried e-cigs on a lark.
I Didn't have a quit date, or a plan to quit, or want to quit. Just was bored and bought an NJOY king. Then another, another, another and another.
Who knew they'd be such a great alternative?
I have dropped nearly 200 bucks on this little bender (which is a strain on my budget), but it's been worth every penny. I haven't quite quit the analogs altogether, but my daily cig smoking has plummeted from 2-3 packs a day , to about a quarter to half a pack. About an 80% reduction. I sleep better, think better, seem to enjoy company more, and don't carry the anxiety around about where and when my next smoke break is going to happen. I still "step away" amongst NS friends or in NS environments--but I don't have to worry about the smell, where to put the ...., having a lighter, finding an ashtray, or starting a forest fire. And I didn't have to "quit" to experience these benefits.
I don't know where this is all headed, but it's been amazingly empowering so far. A very nice surprise.
