DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
oh i want the wood finish Leo!!!! i love my eGo. i am a heavy vaper-at least 10ml ejuice a day. use mega eGo carts. who will be selling it? and WHEN?

The Kanger Vgo utilizes the KR808D-1/901 connection fitting, 650mAh or 1300mAh battery and was intended to go with cartomizers only. That's not saying you couldn't put a 901 atomizer on it with a cartridge. But I don't have one yet to test. The Kanger Vgo also lights up blue at the end of the unit instead of the button lighting. 1300mah anything should last the average user almost 2 days, maybe more. It would last me 1 day before needing charged.

The JSB Diamond Vgo has a simulated "jewel" button which lights. It is standard 510 fitting and the smallest form factor (that I've seen) for 900mah. It uses a Joye 900mAh battery inside, and is really a powerful vaporizer for it's size.

Bauway has their version of the Ego/Vgo with 1300mAh batteries and I'm awaiting getting specs on it. I'm also trying to get a sample of their new 155D unit, which is a crossover between the Vgo and the mod battery housing.

This one I'm excited about...
Boge has the new Leo, and they're sending me one to test. It is 800mAh and has some great new design features separating it from all the other eGo/Vgo designs, including a simulated wood grain, cigar grain, black, cherry red and silver. It has a large "jewel" on the end, a jeweled end cap to cover the atomizer/cartridge, and built in USB port for charging. It is a true 3.7v unit using a 302 fitting. The cartridges are good for 1500 puffs "6 packs of real cigarettes". At 153mm long and 15mm wide, it's a bit bigger than the JSB Vgo, yet will pack one heck of a punch. This one I'll be writing a review on and doing a blog.

I have to add my :2c: here regarding the Vgo 900mAh. I was fortunate enough to win one of these recently from BreezEsmokes and it's quite smashing. In fact, this well-deserved post was delayed somewhat as this Vgo is almost too pretty to use. I was afraid I'd drop it or something so didn't test it out until I'd had it for 3 days and couldn't stand it anymore. It functions beautifully as well, lasts forever between charges, and fits my hand like it was custom made.

It should also be noted that Don at BreezEsmokes couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with and I look forward to doing business with him in the near future. The quality of this product and the professionalism through which it was acquired lead me to believe that BreezEsmokes will soon emerge as a favorite among ECFers.

I have the KR8 model of the vGo, & I agree - love mine!!! I bought it directly from China...

Well, i was so impressed, I decided to get a back-up. Although very pleased with the 650mah, which lasted a full day (maybe longer, havent had one go flat yet), they have now released a 1300mah version. At only 7mm longer than the former, & only a few $$ more, I have decided to give this one a go, & have some on order.

I will add to this thread again once I have received & tried it...

I am surprised by the accounts of 650 mah ego's lasting all day. I am a heavy vaper (ex 3 pack a day smoker), The best I ever got out of a 900 mah Xpower was six hours (mainly constant vaping). I was thinking of moving to a 1300 mah VGO so I can get something that does not flatten out on me, these things take a lot of charging. Is it my use or my model or is everybody else getting the same kind of time on a 900.

I was interested in the 800 mah LEO but was worried it would do the same as the xpower and need recharging half way through the day

I vape pretty much continuous. Not too many breaks. However, an Xpower 900mAh lasts me about 15 hours with cartomizers and about 10 hours with atomizer and cartridge. The 800mAh Leo lasts me about 9 hours with atomizer and cartridge. There are no cartomizers for the Leo (yet).

If you're getting 6 hours out of the Xpower, I'd say it's your vaping habit. You must really huff on that thing all day for it to last that little. No offense, of course. But I don't see you getting much more use out of a smaller 800mAh Leo. You may wish to turn to using the BW-155D (latest Bauway EGO). It's not even really an ego (same shape, kind of). It uses the 18650 Lithium rechargeable 3000mAh battery. It's also a bit more pricey. Or, a pair of the 1300mAh Vgos from just about any vendor.

I would echo both the vGo and Don from BreezEsmokes comments. - I switched to a vGo from a 510 from Volcano and love it!! I also did a review here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronic-cigarette-reviews/131702-breezesmokes-review-vgo.html. Absolutely a recommend!!

I've tried one of the JSB vgo's and got really disappointed. Two times on new vgos the switch started sticking after 2 weeks or less.

The price of a Joye eGo has came down alot, and there's really no reason to get any chintsy immitation mess (I'm looking at you vgo, riva, and others). I've never had a Joye eGo go out on me, they are built like tanks and the quality in so much better.

EDIT: and another thing. the vgo has a cheap plastic push connector on the cone. That means I had liquid seeping onto my fingers. The threads on the eGo cone kept all that inside.

EDIT 2: The buttons. The diamond button was annoying to me. It's small and convex, it didn't sit right in my finger like the rimmed Joye button. It's like how the original NES A+B buttons feel better than Xbox buttons. Small Xbox buttons.

So the Vgo is just yet another eGo style PV? Why does everyone rave about one certain type of eGo style saying this one is better than the other one blablabla. They're all the same when it comes down to the basics. Minus battery life and slight style differences.

No. It's not the same. All the imitations come from different factories in China. The best is the original Joye eGo. I believe you mean they "look" the same. Having held and used both, the quality is way down on these imitations.

I have tried a friend's eGo (true joye brand) and I'll admit it was nice. I haven't tried any other styles of "eGo" tornado, hello016, tRex, riva etc but that same friend has 2 other knockoffs and like I said I haven't vaped with the other two but I noticed they looked a lot cheaper =\

They don't have an eGo/Tornado.

Now, the TW Tornado is a genuine Joye. Both Janty and Totally Wicked and Dietsmoke have them. There's other vendors that have them, too.

Wait I thought Janty made the tornado. So, if Joye makes the tornado, then it's actually an EGO but Totally Wicked basically just named it something they thought more fitting?
