I have a VV/Evod combo that I love but I don't really like using it out and about. Partly because I don't want to break or lose it and partly because I'm the type who doesn't like to draw attention to myself. My wife really wanted a cigalike and after watching countless reviews and doing my homework, I decided on the Volt pro starter kit. I knew my wife would love it because she thinks Blu's are fine. I wanted something stealthy for myself too so I ordered a second kit. I figured the worst case would be that I didn't like it I could help someone else quit.
My impressions of SI as a company are excellent. Great website, fair prices, quick (and free) delivery, and very professional packaging. My order was kinda big with 2 kits, some blanks, extra batts, and some juice and everything arrived neatly packaged in bubble wrap with slick branded boxes. Nothing was missing. Before it was shipped I emailed to change the strength on one of my juices and it was promptly taken are of. Great marks here.
Everything was in perfect condition and worked out of the box. The portable charging case (PCC) is very stealthy and works great. Many youtube reviews cover all that stuff though.
I wasn't sure what I would think about the performance because I'm so used to a vv/evod and I will be totally honest. I thought the flavor and vapor from such a small little package was fantastic. So easy to use. Screw a cart into a charged battery and off you go. Feels almost like the real thing in the hand too. My wife is totally thrilled with it. I have a bunch of different juices to fill the blanks so she won't be getting bored anytime soon.
Any thoughts of me not liking it and giving it to a friend are now gone. I'm keeping my kit and will be using it plenty. I'm not a heavy vaper (prob 2-3ml/day most times) so I can typically get away with 2+/- carts a day and having the PCC and spare batts means that I can leave the house and be totally set for the whole day and not worry at all about being near a usb charger. A tic tac container (for carts) and PCC fit right into a pocket too. Very very convenient.
This is a great kit for beginners or folks who really want a cigalike. This one really performs there. It's not a vv/evod or eGo so nobody should expect it to be one. But the volt is one heck of an on the go, attractive, and stealthy cigalike.
