got my new itaste vtr and went and bought 2 new batteries--i was told that these are the unprotected ones which are used by the vtr.

efest 18650 (2000mah) Battery.

they don't seem to be charging

should they have been precharged? and if not how long should they take to charge?

my charger says it supports 18650

the indicator on the charger just remains at red level that's even after 4 hours

the vtr will power on and the led will remain green when trying to fire but nothing happens

i'm new to all this so just trying to figure this allout

thanks

What is the make and model of the charger?

The VTR should have a built-in voltage meter. Did it come with an owner's manual?

thanks for your time
i don't think the vtr has a built-in meter

my charger is a trust fire

i did some googling around and it seems others have this issue with the trust fire and this same efest battery--...can be very long charging times

my other batteries--efest imr 14500 seem to charge up fairly quickly--1-2 hours
