LOL nevermind :)

Good lord what a difference! I just never did a direct comparison test :)

Getting much warmer vapor, the cloud of vapor really isnt dramatically different but it is thicker... I think we may be OK! :)
Oh ok. That is good!
sorry to spam this thread!

So the vapor is definitely warmer, but the vapor cloud itself really isnt dramatically different...

Not like that dude's video on youtube, im not getting anywhere near that amount of vapor and everything is fresh. new juice, new cart, new batteries...
I think that is what this thread is for is to talk about the product and get the word out about an inexpensive fixed VV PV. :) So I don't think that you are spamming. It is a much warmer vapor. And yes, be careful with a 2.0 ohm and 6V....LOL I even have to be careful with my SR Boges at the 6V setting. If I chain vape it too much I will burn em up.

Thanks Fox :)

Yea, Im still not getting the desired vapor even with a 100% vg juice...

This is weird, the vapor is definitely warmer, but I'm just not getting that crazy vapor that I see people get on the youtube vids.

No worries!

I don't know??? I vape nothing but 100%VG and I get more vapor from my REV3 at 5V than the 3VO at 5V. I can see a little difference. Not a huge amount, but definitely more. You know, there is something to say for YouTube trickery...lighting, the distance of the person in relation to the camera and the direction that the vapor is blown in. A true test is two devices with identical juices and carts with the same draw on each.

Good call Fox, never thought of that, the right angle may look like there is crazy vapor!

It's definitely hitting better than my eGo, Im super happy with it anyhow, I really love this mod! :)

Glad this thread was started, otherwise I'd never have known about it :)

Great, glad you like it! If it was not hitting better than your eGo, there would definitely be a problem. :) It is a great little mod and for the price, you really can't go wrong. Enjoy sir! :)

Jim, I find cartos just don't perform well for very long on their own with Boba's or other vg juices I use. Now if I put that same 3 ohm Boge carto in a tank with a big notch from my Dremel it is a world of difference. Boba's and Ikenvape RY4 vg put out the biggest clouds I've ever seen at 6 volts using the Rev3. There's something to be said for keeping your cartos saturated in a tank when vaping at higher voltage.

Hmmm, Ok thats good, I've got a tank coming, hopefully it will arrive today but I'm thinking Monday.

Im just hoping nothing is wrong with the device. I don't think there is though as i can hear the carto being worked more than the regular eGo. Plus boba's is almost flavorless through my eGo but tons of flavor through the Rev. But vapor production is too close for comfort (rev vs. ego).

I'll plug in a buddies cart when I get to work and see what happens. Maybe i just cant fully saturate this cart without a tank!?

Boba's in a cart is tough I know. Looking forward to receiving that tank!

One of the first signs of a carto that is on its way to getting dry is a loss of vapor. As spiral said, slotted or punched cartos in a tank is the way to go on a REV3 or any VV device running at higher voltages. You'll actually see the bubbles coming out of a punched carto in a tank letting you know that it is wicking the juice throughout the filler material. Being a 100%VG guy I punch two pretty good size hole in my tanks, but being careful not to penetrate the center tube.

Just noticed this today. I hope that ECF, 310, or Mr Busardo don't mind me linking the video here :)

LOL.... great review of the fruit ninja. I was showing Phil my REV3 at a small New England vape meet last month. I told him what great customer service 310 has and what a deal the REV3 was. Glad 310 sent him one. What a great guy and a total wise-... he is. I think that's why we got along so well:p

nice, Redfox thanks for the vid! I emailed Mr. Busardo when i was looking at the REV3 back in May to see what he thought, he hadnt seen it yet - im glad he got one for review!
No problem! I've emailed him a few times myself, and he has always responded in kind. Truly a nice guy :)

I had a pretty good chuckle when he said it! Very cool! Would really like to meet him one day myself. Seems like he would be a lot of fun to be around. His "wise-..." attitude is what brings me back to his vids every time :)

So my cartomizers haven't been performing very well with the Rev3. I've been using the same smoktek dual coil 2.0 ohm cartos. What am I doing wrong? I know the Rev 3 uses pulse width modulation and that it actually runs a bit higher voltage than it claims.

Should I switch to a single coil? a 3.0 ohm? I'm done with smoketeks. I want to be able to properly use a tank and these puny holes aren't doing the job.

Absolutely..... I've been using 3 ohm Boge's that I notch with a Dremel in my tanks. They really perform well at the 5 and 6 volt settings. Personally, I have never been a fan of dual coil anything, except the 1.5 4xl mega cartos I use on my Ego Twists.

Thanks for the info. I didn't see this in time and actually ordered a few cartos to test out from IKenvape.com (per the advice of grim green). Those cartos work wonderfully but I'll have to see if the Boges will fit my tanks since Ikenvape's don't.

FYI to all, my Rev3 finally broke after 4 or 5 months of use. Not too shabby. The clear ring which allows the LEDS to shine through cracked. After time, the ring just disintegrated. You'll notice the head piece is connected to the body in two weak places. My pv doesn't drop on the floor, but it does fall over on the desk quite often. I believe this weakened and eventually broke the head piece from the battery housing. I was able to tape it up and get it to work but it looks like hell and I'll be buying a new PV.

Not sure I'll go with another Rev 3.

I was getting ready to get some 2.0 smoketek dual coil carts. Until now. How was your Carts giving you problems. I'm going nuts trying to get this thing to work well.
