are the v2.1 supposed to beep when you press the button? i never heard anything on my v1
I'd like to see an answer to this as well. I really want to get one of these, but not if it beeps. Did you order it from 310vapers?

If they are available, we will snag some up!I've seen a short battery tube that holds one 16340 bat for the 3vo, turns it into a mini 3.7v device. Any chance you can get some of these?
They don't beep -- this switch is being replaced. This is the first time we have heard of a beeping switch![]()
Thanks for the response. I thought this sounded a bit odd. Hopefully, I'll be ordering from you guys at the beginning of the month. I've heard nothing but the best about your customer service. Take care.
My 3vo went haywire for a bit and was flashing white and firing continously without pressing the button. Now its stuck on ego mode even though im using two icr123 s. Any help? update: i think my 3vo is busted, it fires uncontrollably when the carto is on. Plaese let me know how to get it fixed, where to send it.
Hey Red. I had the exact same problem. I'm on my 3rd switch out of 2 units. Now my brand new switch is not working with dct tank cartos. I love the size and performance of the 3VO, but man these things are finicky.... at least the ones I've had. I hope these are isolated problems with these units and I'm just having bad luck. Otherwise, the great crew of guys at 310 are going to be inundated with calls and emails from people who purchased these units sooner or later. I hope not, because the team at 310 are really top-notch and that would suck for them as well as us.@vap3
Ok, so I am starting to experience the 3 white flashes when I screw in a carto, tank, or anything for that matter. I have 2 3VOs so I am able to test between the 2. 9 out of 10 different cartos I screw in all the way will start to flash white. I take those exact same cartos and put them on my other 3VO and they perform just fine.I guess the switch assembly is going bad? What is odd is that if I unscrew them slightly they will work, but will eventually not fire at all because it broke the connection to the switch due to them being unscrewed slightly.
Oh and all my cartos are Boge SR and LR purchased from here.
Thanks!

Fox,
We are seeing this issue pop up from other customers as well. We have yet to pinpoint the causing factor. It seems to happen after a period of time has passed and the unit has some wear and tear. The white flash indicates a short. I am assuming it has to do with the o-ring under the center pin wearing down...
I just discussed this issue with the manufacturer and as expected, they ensured us that the they have made changes to the switch that fix this issue *sigh*..
We will be receiving a small batch of *new* switches to test soon. The results of this batch will determine our future sales of the 3VO.
I'm sorry to hear the troubles some of you are having and hope that the issue is resolved with this new revision.
OK. I just noticed on my purchase history that I am about 12 days (?) out of the warranty period too.Have you been experiencing the same problems with the 2.1 switches? Mine was a 2.0.
