New VVPV Pump Problems..

Hello all. I decided to take the plunge and buy a VVPV. All chrome, it is beautiful. I also ordered a second pump, tip and tubing. It worked fine for 1 day, then I noticed I was getting dry hits so upon investigation, the pump was not feeding any juice? Well I emptied the bottle and went to water and can't even get water to pump through. So I broke out my second(back-up) pump, top and tubing and stated with just water and same problem?
Is it possible I got a bad patch of pumps. I am not an engineer, but I played with these things for hours and there is not much to them and still can not even pump water through either pump with different tubing and tops.

I really hope some one can give some good advice, because as of now I have contacted e-cigs and am trying to get a refund. My thought was if I am having this much problems already then I should jump ship. But I really like the design and mechanics of the VV top feed.

Thanks to all who post and read. I really need some help and what happens here will determine if I return it. It is 3 days old and perfect in looks. Just the dam pumps are killing me.
I can make a u tube video of me trying to pump water through the things if necessary and post the link, but i do not see how that could get me more help.

I had the same thing happen to me on my first pump. send it back for a new one. Good luck. The one I have now works perfectly.

If you feel much resistance when pushing the button, that means the tube has a kink in it, too sharp an angle. The best setup for a given top varies. Outwards toward the right, inwards to the left, and how much extra tube to leave in the compartment does differ, but will be consistent for a given top.

It does take multiple pumps to initially fill the tube with liquid. After liquid fills the tube, each press is equivalent to a couple drops.

The quality of the vape experience is absolutely top notch, worth the time to find your best packing method. I have added the vvpv dt adapter, and just today ordered an empire mods drip shield (it is easy to overfeed, the shield keeps liquid from leaking out the connector air holes down the side).

Aruga, if you can't get them to pump outside of the unit itself, then the place where the tube is glued in may have gotten over glued. Drop an email thru the "contact us" on the Notcigs website and we'll get you a couple of new bottles in the mail.

Thanks for responding. I guess I may have recived 2 bad pumps. The first worked for 1 day and the second never worked.
Let me add that I removed the drip tip and the pump from the device so I was kust using the pump and tubing so no kinks or odd tubing placement could be a factor.
I am not sure if they will offer me a refund or not, and I really like the MOD. Would the long time users of it say it is worth it?
I am a tank guy, but lately have fell in love with some new lliquids from Ms's that are very thick, so I was thinking an atty can handle this much better than the tanks can. I have been using a 901 1.8 ohm from IKV which works great. I used a dual 510 from COV and the taste was not there. I alos used a 801 atty from COV and the vape production was not there.
I have ordered a HH-357 custome cisco spec 100VG which will arrive in a few weeks, but untill then the 901's seem to be the best for thick juice.
Does any one else use thick juices and would atty works best for them wit the VVPV?

I have ordered a HH-357 custome cisco spec 100VG which will arrive in a few weeks, but untill then the 901's seem to be the best for thick juice.
Does any one else use thick juices and would atty works best for them wit the VVPV?

My VVPV exclusively uses a regular 2.0 ohm hh.357 and AVE 555 (100% VG) juice. I've consumed pretty close to 400 ml - same pump and same atty (hh.357 are incredibly long lasting attys if you follow the maintenance instructions).

For the hh.357, prime it with around 10 - 12 drops. They hold more juice than other 510 barrel attys. Two pumps at a time will keep that atty right in the sweet spot. I haven't had a dry hit or a flooded hit since the first day when I was still figuring it out.

So, once you get your pump(s) replaced (just use the contact form on notcigs site like Bovina said), I think you'll be very pleased with how it operates. - They were testing the pumps with water before shipping them for a while. So, if your replacements come with a little moisture in them, no worries: it just means they tested them.

The vvpv was my first mod purchase and still my favorite. I sent it in for repair for something I did to it, without the bottle and they sent a new bottle back. If you have trouble getting a new one I'd send you my spare bottle. I'd rather that then you return it for this issue. It's a great Pv and still the best few weeks of vaping I've had until I screwed it up lol. My ipro and buzz pro are amazing but that ease of dripping, passthrough capability and fast charging has my heart! Keep us posted notcigs has the best customer service hands down they will get you taken care of.

Aruga take the bottle out , pull the top off of it ( where the tube comes out ) look inside there see if there is any debris in the hole ! this is the fluid path if something gets in there it can clog the juice flow

First let me say this company has great customer service. They have already shipped 2 new tested pumps.
I love the look of the PV and using a volt meter I was surprised to see it hold the same voltage even when the batteries were almost dead. Very nice.
What surprised me was when I first charged it I had the device turned off. Let it charge for several hours then tried to use it and it was still dead. So I left the device on and charged it and it worked perfectly. I found that a little odd, but no big deal.
I am happy and am looking forward to some working pumps and my HH-357 custom spec 100VG to use with it. Right now the 901 from IKV has been doing better than an 801 IKV atty, dual coil 510 from COV, and surprisingly a 510 atty from IKV.
I am using Ms't thick juice and 901 seems to be the best so far.
