Not sure if this is where to post, but I thought I'd share my first mod progress as I go.

Well since I have started vaping and found this site I have been checking out this Modders section more and more. I finally couldn't take it any longer and just had to try my hand at this.
Been going back and forth on which mod I wanted to try to make and since I have no idea what mahs are, or resistors, or pots... I figured I'd jump right in and try to build One of those Evercool ones in a wood box with a bottom feed.
All most all my tools are in the back of storage right now so I had to resort to a hacksaw and sand paper for this thing. Everything is Red Oak.
Hrmm, never tried soldering, this should be a mess.

Lol, I'm actually turned off my its size a bit as well, turned out a little bigger than I had planned on. outside dimensions of the box are 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" x 1 3/16"
I dont have any of the parts yet so I was kind of guessing for the sizes. If it turns out I'll prob try to make a more narrow taller box, and have the electronics over the batteries instead of in between the batteries and 5ml bottle.

I like a mod where I can squeeze for juice and hit the button without changing hand position. I have a Journeyman and a Woodvil. I love them both, but the Journeyman is easier for me to use. I do like the looks of what your making, if you could just manage a bit more narrow box.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Ok finished it up. Next time I wont get in a hurry to build the box before the parts get in. now I have to try to find a bottle that fits. 3ml to small and my 6ml bottle is to big. I'll have to run to the craft store or somewhere and see if I can scrounge something up.
I get a range from 3.4v to 6v on my meter.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Looks nice, a bit roomy, but still nice. I can't say for sure, but being as you have some space between the batts and the door and about that from the batts to the wall, a 5ml bottle from madvapes ought to fit in there pretty well. The pump button might conflict a bit and the bottle may be rather short, but you could compensate with longer plumbing. Excellent hacksaw work BTW.

Should never have made this box. It forced me to go down to storage and get out my little ryobi table router. I couldnt locate my router bits in there but luckily I had one in the router I could use. Just need to find the 1/4 inch round over bit for all the edges. Don't think I want more blisters from hand sanding like the first one.
I think I've found a new hobby =)
Although I'm totally guessing on the interior dimensions needed for different Mods

Almost everything I own is in storage right now why I'm trying to buy a house. Wouldn't be so bad but the garage got packed first, so most all my tools are in the back of the storage.
Was a bit easier on these last ones since I managed to find my router in the storage.
Found about 2 feet of 3/4" thick purple poplar board that I could run through the router.

The first box was all cut out of 1/4" strips of wood. It was just a pain cause it took forever to get a straight edge on a hacksaw cut by dragging it back and forth on a piece of sandpaper tapped to a desk. Then get all 6 pieces to fit together without nasty gaps.
