But like Steve said, use the cart condoms on the battery ends and they will hold securely, and on our next order I will make all the slots narrower so both batteries and carts will stay snug without condoms.

Is this safe to do? Someone had mentioned the condom activates the vaccuum?

I tested mine at work today. :( It's not good. The foam's too stiff and deep for batts, hard to get to them. The cartos slots, even with condoms on are too wide. They all fall out. It's a messy storage set-up...I was so looking forward to these cases too.... :(

I agree not a good design and not tested at all

It would be better to just take the foam out and just throw evwything in

I'm disappointed

I'm not sure how it works but One day for some reason or another I put a condom on the ash end and noticed the led light came on I thought it was kind of neat since I do not have any manual bats So now when ever I need a quick heavy hit I slip on a condom and it heats my carto up nice and I can take a drag with out a primmer puff It works even better If you use a but plug on the ash instead of a condom

oh, and do let us know when the next 'order' of the cases come? and i'll get another. for now, after reading through, the suggestions help.

i'd think putting a condom on the battery end would cause the simulated suction? how would it do so from the ash end?? i'm confused.

so this is an auto batt thing, not a manual one?

and i'm so sad to read all this about the case. i just tried to jostle mine around a bit to see what happened, and the cartos on top came loose, but not OUT really. and i put a condom on the batt end of one of my reg manuals and that, at least, stayed put. i suppose if i leave a cart on said reg batt, it'll fit okay, but i'd put a condom on the mouthpiece end of the cart for added insurance it stays put. it's the batts i don't want jostled around, the carts i can deal with. i've had two batts drop and have been lucky they still work.

so i mean, i paid for it, i'll make it work somehow until they actually test the next one and modify the insides for keeping things in better. hell, i'll line the grooves with some kleenex to make it 'tighter' in the meantime, if i must.

I agree that as it is shipped it does not suit, the top portion did not hold carts with endcaps or batteries with booties when top closed.

However, I really do think the case has potential if you are willing to be creative and cut some new foam for the lid. The top piece pulled out fairly easy on mine as half of the adhesive sticker was still in place. I am thinking of making a spot for a couple bottles of juice and 4-6 carts vertically on the top. I also think that if I cut out the center portion of the cartomizer section on the bottom it would hold normal length batteries well. Just need to find something to hold the juice well enough to contain any leaks... perhaps one of those terry lined shower caps.

Off to find the foam, glue gun and scrap velvet. If it works out well I will post a picture. If anyone else feels the urge to be creative I would love to see what others come up with.

**** Word of caution to V4L packing people, mine was crushed in on itself when I received it. Top popped out but marred the outside finish in the corner that over lapped the other. I would suggest bands of some sort around both sides to stabilize when shipping to prevent damage. It was the substitute mail guy today and he is always rough with deliveries but I think that is a fairly common trait amongst mail carriers.

I love my new case. Actually, only one of the battery slots is a bit loose and if I hold it upside down, the one battery falls out. If I open it like a book, everything stays put just perfect. If the slots were any tighter, it would be a pain to get the batteries out I think. Try opening and closing your case as you would a book and see if it works better for you.
