Hello everybody, here’s wishing everyone much health and happiness for the new year.
Today I would like to ask you all for your suggestions and opinions regarding sub-ohm tanks and their associated heads for my new ML.
Here are my parameters so far:
I’m into flavor, not clouds.
I vape up to 90%vg
I won’t be using Ni or Ti coils.
I would like to find a balance between great flavor and battery life.
I won’t be building or rebuilding anything, I lack patience and dexterity.
High quality, excellent build, top fill, doesn’t have to have huge capacity.
Thanks

I like the Uwell Crown too. I use pre-built 1.2ohm coils at 30watts. I get plenty of flavor and fantastic battery life. There isn't many tanks now a days that have pre-built above ohm coils.

Sadly I'm seeing some anomalies:(

No lightning bolt when charging, occasionally Joules counter will continue to go up after firing after fire button is released for a short period of time, when it does this and in Eco mode the screen doesn't dim after 5 seconds like normal. It's vaping fine but not sure if this is due to firmware or if my device is malfunctioning. Sent email off to vendor so waiting to see what they say....

There are several softwares available for download for firmware update from this site, which one are you peeps using to update ML??

Download-yihiecigar,sx350,Yihi SX350,dna30 30W chip,SX350 35W chip Manufacturers & Suppliers - Dongguan Yihi Electronic Co.,Limited - Page 1

Edit:
Software is garbage. Cant even get the drivers installed manually.

Your on the wrong site. You're on Yihiecigar site, you should be using Yihisxmini site. The files on the Yihiecigar site is for the boards they sell and they haven't released the SX350j-V2 board yet.

SXmini ML Class manufacturers,SXmini ML Class exporters,SXmini ML Class suppliers,SXmini ML Class OEM service.

They have some instructions out there under News or FAQ as well. But I didn't have any problems just installing on Windows 7.

Yea if your not familiar with Link from previous versions you wouldn't necessarily know that. Here's the link to the upgrade instructions may help to do a quick read if your not familiar. Link on is step 4.

Yeah, the step 4 was unclear. Had to read upgrade instructions from another thread for M Class.
If you download User Manual pdf from their site, the instructions are far more clearer then the Upgrade Instructions.

My unit came with firmware V1.901. Now im upgraded to latest V2.102.
Unit got a bit warm after upgrade for some reason. Battery was a tad warm from the unit it self, so i swapped the batteries to be safe.

Edit.
After upgrade i noticed two things under power mode.

1. I can now set my Ohms for the coil but, they revert back to what the chip reads.
2. Setting for manually adjusting temp compensation is gone.

Edit 2;

Another observation after upgrade, using Novice mode only.

The ML hits much harder at 30w then my Sig 100 Plus at 30w. Even at 25w, ML has more vapor, warmer vape and i can taste more of the juice (more flavor) on the same coil.

This little mod...is impressive! Best buy of the 2015!

Edit 3;

Had to turn the wattage down to 20w otherwise the tank gets hot too fast while chain vaping even at 25w.

Question for those of you that have updated to 2.102, when connected to USB do you have a Lightning Bolt through the Battery Bar?

I'm also noticing what I reported earlier about the Joules counter going up it seems to frequently go up by 230J so I'm thinking it's a Firmware thing or maybe something to do with the onscreen time battery consumption. I've been able to reproduce it in most Preset modes but generally it's easier to just do it in Eco since it's a 5 second screen timeout so less waiting.

The way to reproduce it is simply make a mental note of the Joule counter then let the screen timeout, then quickly hit and release the fire button. If some of you would give that a try and report back if your Joule counter increases I'd greatly appreciate it.

Before and after upgrade:

1. I have "power plug" icon before "J" counter when unit is plugged into a usb port and battery is charging. Never had "lightning" icon as you would see on a cell phone while its charging.
2. Screen turns off after 4 sec in Eco mode.
3. J counter stops after 0.5 sec, +4 after releasing fire button.

Thanks, I have the USB plug connector icon as well, so the lack of a Lightning bolt is just not there must be normal but different than the SXmini M. Now that I know how to reproduce the Joule increase I think it's on all devices it's to easy for me to recreate now. Hitting the button but not really firing it is when I see it go up. If I hit it to long it will just go back to dim after about 5 seconds when in Eco mode.

In eco mode my screen turns off after 4sec, NOT dim.

Yea your right I mis-stated dim, it goes off, completely dark and same Icon I have for the USB.

Try flicking at your power button a little more if you don't mind, not long enough to fire it just enough to wake it up to see if your Joule counter ever goes up. I can do it almost every time now just by tapping the top of the fire button. Praying it's firmware and not my device being defective. :)
