I had been using this mod on 60-75w with my regular low resistance builds and it was nice but not overly impressive and absolutely killed my batteries.
Last night I built a .47 single coil in my Smok RBA and started messing with it at 30-40w and man does it shine. The modulation in powerful+ is really nice heats up the coil fast and then backs off right where you want it.

No problem, better to stay on their good side and do as they ask. :) I took jazzvapor suggestion of the Nife48 and ordered some today. If it works out well I'll skip the SS all together and use the SS316 I have for my acrylic bender.

I need to pick up some Nife too

Resitherm for my Dicodes box that has reached international shipping depot :rickroll:

I doubt it's wrong as there would be widespread reports if so, It may be wrong for your particular wire or there may be something out of calibration. I don't have any 430 to test but Steam Engine list it at .001380 as well as I've seen others in similar range. I'd suggest you try the cotton burn test with a single spaced coil "untwisted", pulsing first to get out all the hotspots and hot leges, then making sure to let sit for a bit and lock the resistance at room temp and setting the Compensate temp to room temperature then try the test again.

After torching the wire for a bit the temp control protection is working correctly up to 400f.

Looks like ill have to rebuild two tanks, since i couldnt figure out why i was getting dry hits even at 285F. Need to torch SS wire for a lot longer before i start building coils out of it.
