I haven't Jake I have gotten so used to my M's I only have a problem with one of them I thought these were much more of a task, wasn't sure if I was cross threading it or just screwing it in against the resistance and very crunchy.
I'm really not sure how I would use those custom settings on TC I just set everything on the device itself. IDK why I would need to use something custom unless maybe I wanted to start out with a strong vape and end with a weaker one.

How many of you are using the custom settings? I haven't tried that feature yet
Sent from my iPhone

I've used it just to have a faster ramp up, then down in 2.5 joule steps to my normal setting.
Seems to work ok, but for that use, not much (any) different than powerful or powerful+

I have found that I get a 'flutter' on both the MLs I have when setting the initial to 50J then stepping down to 30J. And that flutter lasts as long as I hold the fire button, IOW it isn't related to the initial higher power.

This is on a Crown tank using a SS 430 28 Ga 6/5 wrap at .46 ohms.
Take the tank off, put it on an RX 200 or eVic-Mini it does not have the flutter.

Couldn't wait, popped back on my lunch break, this thing is very slick, beautiful finish! Also it feels great, the gloss finish is really smooth, Yihi did an awesome job here!

Thanks Yihi, quality prize! Also got a skin in red (not the colour I would pick but I'm not complaining!)

Nifethal 52 26 or 27 awg excellent, even better. Listed as NiFe 48. Less than 10 days to the USA.

Alright I've received the 27g Nife48 wire from Zivipf. TC regulation seems to be really smooth and wire much more durable than Ni200 but I am in question of the best TCR, build type etc.. Looked at the other thread but not sure final recommendations had been obtained yet or perhaps I've overlooked them. What's the best build and TCR your finding to use at this point in time?

Depending on deck space, I'm running from 7.5 to a 9.5 wrap, 2.7 mm spaced at 405 (4036 is SE standard), temps at 480 - 520.

I use 0.00405 on the VF SX 350 and M-Class with a Temp Compensate of 21°.

On my DNA 200's I use either the same TCR or the TFR listed at Steam Engine.

Congrats on getting the RIGHT wire. [emoji106]

ETA: Seeing the other Nifethal 52 expert [emoji6], Landman, I should say something about build specs, wattage & set temperature:

On the 350's I am at 440 or 450F @ 40-45 joules.

On the DNA 200 I am from 450-480 F with wattage between mid-40's to +70 watts depending on desired flavor and vapor.

Resistance from 0.13 Ω to 0.23 Ω with 7 to 9 or so wraps dual coils...N.B., talking either 26 or 27 awg.

Thanks, was really looking for confirmation. I'd concluded .00405 to work well. I actually preferred vaping it higher at .00450 but that seems to cause it to run a little hot when it runs dry. I'm still looking for the best build but so far I'm having best luck with torched, spaced, dry burned then wicked. Have done a couple contact coils of different size but they both popped a lot for some reason (could have been wicking) idk but I'm running a .28Ω and a .375Ω spaced right now and they're both smooth as butter.

Across several attys, dual and single, I only use contact coils, pulsed on my rDNA at 20 watts, compressed with ceramic tweezers as needed.

Then dry-burned/pulsed and re-wicked as needed, usually every 15-20 ml.

It's a real beauty isn't it! I haven't seen a white mod finished so well, Yihi did an amazing job.

I'm tempted to keep it but I'm plenty happy with my black one. Might sell it and start a saving jar for the Q class.

Gonna be a long 2 weeks waiting for more info, also want to hear some more about the sx pure!

I am just preying all the Q class early adopters keep complaining about weight to put me off

Definitely don't wanna see any posts telling me how wonderful it is

My bank manager is not happy with this forum already

Haha yeah I know the feeling! I'm after a dicodes box and a Q class, couple more tanks then I'm taking a little break from forums and enjoying what I have!

Well that's what I keep telling myself anyway :w00t:
