You wouldn't. If your configuring a Q curve for a Temp configuration it will be in Joules, If configuring for a Power configuration it will be in Watts. Your curve would look something like this for a Temp Limiting configuration depending on the Time intervals you chose to make the adjustments.

So do you have to have your ML hooked up to the computer to get J in the SXI-Q all I can get is W

Alright glad to hear, was beginning to think mine was dodgy. :) I went through probably 4 updates and it was pretty consistently doing it every time with 2.206 so I reverted back to 2.203.
Ha ha! I know the feeling all too well so that is why I would see for myself and come to your rescue. lol

I am finding that if I come in from a dark screen, I usually use Eco mode, then it produces proper screen no matter what is the orientation. If I change orientation while the screen is lit then it seems guaranteed to produce the screen issue.

Can that theory... It is true after a few minutes of dark screen, but not for a brief one. Well that is what it seems anyway. They do have a bug that needs some work but it doesn't bother me so much and will continue to use this version. Maybe I will find something else, but other than that bug, all seems good so far.

You probably do need to be connected. You adjust each of the S1-S5 curves for each of your C1-C5 configurations for whatever mode selected within them. If Power it will be W, If Temp it will be J.

Ah hell I will just use Powerful or Powerful+ This software is pretty flaky. I see that hcigar came out with a DNA200 at 133 with 2 18650's. Also have been reading good and bad about the IPV5. Don't know how they could have them already thought they were just coming out yesterday if they got them then don't know how they could make a good judgement

Hmm well I have C1 configured for Ti Joules mode all my settings in there but when I go over to sxiq it is in watts for s1

If your C1 is for Temp then open SXI make sure your device is connected under Connection, Then select the Setting Icon and select your C1 configuration, Return and Select your SXI-Q Icon and adjust your curves. If your not able to adjust in J then your either not connected, haven't selected the correct Configuration or your having another problem.

OK thanks. will probably still use powerfull heck of a lot less hassle

It's relatively an easy setup but not necessary for single coil builds like you and I build the majority of the time. More of an option for those that want more, or something different than what the presets are configured to do. But if you think that's a hassle consider what some other devices require you to go through prior to their use.;)

Well I just read some good news. Temco has Ti wire in all gauges and it is supposed to be really clean. I'm going to order some and try it out. The Unkamen is really good till you clean it then it seems to kind of peter out. Don't get the same amount of vapor or flavor. The Crazy wire works much better after cleaning, my Unkamen was actually working better before I cleaned it. Maybe Temco will be the answer.

I don't use auto screen either because I found it annoying changing directions all the time, so the update is working well for me so far.

I don't support the Bush's either. I pray Jeb! and Hilary lose or else America will be in big trouble.

Love love love the auto display orientation feature. I get annoyed when I pickup a mod that doesn't have that feature and I have to turn it over to read the display. Similar with my tablet, sometimes an application will consume memory or cpu and cause it to not orientate quickly, it's aggravating enough that I'll uninstall the offending app and replace it with another.

I would like it if it worked as advertised. On my ML it changed directions every time I pushed the button.

You may have a defective unit if your display changes orientation with a button push. I'm betting your talking about the "Sensor On" and not the "Display Auto" two different features and different use. Sensor On allows for setting adjustments in the menu by tilting the device using the gravity sensor and could appear to change settings with a button push if the device is tilted, Display Auto changes the orientation of the display to Left, Right or Auto depending on how you typically hold the device and works independently of "Sensor On". If I'm wrong and your device is truly doing what you suggest I'd urge you to get with the vendor and get it replaced.

I have sensor off. I should explain in greater detail. The display wouldn't change when I was vaping. It would keep changing when I would be doing settings. I guess I could turn auto back on after I'm done with the settings but I always look at the screen displayed one direction anyway.

Ok so no change on button push but would change when adjusting settings. The only explanation I can think of for that is the orientation your holding while making adjustments. If the device is held vertically or diagonally the gravity sensor may have a hard time figuring out what side is supposed to be up. Try holding the device horizontally while making adjustments and if you still experience the screen flip you may have a bad gravity sensor, if not it's just the way you were holding the device.

I always hold it horizontally when looking at the screen. It could be I have a bad gravity sensor but it doesn't matter much to me since I always look at the screen displayed to the right.

Which toppers do you folks have the best success with ? Other than the sub tank most others don't have deep enough 510 threads. My go to tanks are the Monster V3 , Lemo 2 , Hurricane.
I get better results with these tanks in W mode with SS316 L. Sub tanks and the Goblin mini V2 seem ok in J mode. The crown works ok with the RBA but drinks liquid.
