Right behind you...
I prefer to not have to remove the tank from the mod at all. I basically don't use tanks where I have to do that anymore. Just my preference I guess.

I too prefer tanks where the deck can be accessed without draining the tank. Phasing out ones where that can't be done, and refuse to use anything that needs a screwdriver to fill.

Same here, which is why I passed on the otherwise excellent Goblin Mini. Just ordered a Goliath V2 for $15, but that one gets a pass because you CAN top fill it, albeit with some care needed (and did I mention only $15?).

But the Bellus is top fill, and lets you access the deck without dumping the tank, so it's got all the bases covered, plus direct airflow to the coils, a two post design, and clean, minimalist styling. Bonus points, the deck is a direct connection to the 510, so it should be a bit better for temp control builds than many other RTAs out there.

I'm probably the only one who watched that video and decided to pass on the Bellus. I don't like the wicking, been spoiled by my Aromamizer's simplistic wicking. :\

@Petabread how is the airflow compared to the Aromamizer? And, in general, do you think the Bellus is better?
I am the same. It's basically a Goliath v2 with side airflow and top fill.

I have the steam crave rdta and I very much doubt the Bellus, or any current tank will match it or come close for flavour. Plus with the new velocity style deck it's in a class of its own. I have a lot of tanks and none can take it on.

Airflow isn't even close. I still love the vape off it. To be honest, and I can't believe I'm actually saying it, but I haven't touched my Aromamizer since I received this. I never thought that would happen.

Wicking is not a big deal. It was the first 2-3 times, but it's really easy. Of course, not as easy as the Aromamizer.

And, you know, no ghetto-looking rubber AFC on the Bellus.
Ugh, how in the hell did they create that masterpiece and then give up on the AFC ring. There's photos somewhere, maybe SC's site that show a metal band. I'm guessing that was a protytpe or rendering.

Are we there yet?

I like a lot of air flow so the Aromamizer vape band is probably a non issue for me. I just can't bring myself to purchase a tank that doesn't have top fill. To me that's a deal breaker. If Steam Crave adds top fill to the next revision I will gladly give it a try. Until then I will give the Bellus a try.

What? Seriously? Surely the flavour can't be as good as the Aromamizer? Please tell me it isn't. My box can't fit another tank in, well, maybe one more......

To be honest, I never really felt my Aromamizer was that great for flavor. I'll caveat this now and say I don't have the velocity deck and a two-hole vape band, so that might have made a difference.

With identical builds in both, the Bellus, IMO, is much warmer and better for flavor. Vapor production isn't even close though.

They both have their pros and cons. I wouldn't ever say that one is better than the other, id just say to get them both. For $24, I can't imagine anyone saying the Bellus isn't worth it. I actually think that's borderline theft, considering how well it's made and performs.

The SC is quite particular about coil placement and where the air holes line up with the coils. The V style deck and 2 hole band really do make such a difference. Might be worth checking where your coils are in relation to the holes. What I do is I have a small piece of electrical tape on the bottom and before I screw on the tank, I turn the deck to make sure the coils are in line. Block off the airholes that aren't facing the coils with electrical tape so they're under the band and only the ones facing the coils are open.

The coils need to be high up, just so you can see the base of them through the airholes.

This is my coil placement. As you can also see the 2 post deck opens up the centre

Yea, I was about to pull the trigger on the two-hole vape band and the velocity deck, and then the Bellus showed up out of nowhere - so I put those on hold. Figured I'd wait till my new toy "gets old" and it's time for something else new. Lol

I know what you're saying, but I guess the way I look at it, because it's top fill, the only time you'd need to access the deck is to re wick/coil which wouldn't be that often compared to filling.

I can agree with that :)

I also passed on the Goblin mini for that reason, and also ordered a Goliath v2 recently :) I'm ok with a kanger subtank/Aqua v2 style solution for filling, but prefer top fill.

I will certainly be getting a Bellus. The need to remove the tankto access the build deck is an annoyance but in no way a dealbreaker.
