Am I wrong in thinking the entire AFC and its attachments spin on O-rings like a dripper? So you'd(e) be able to spin the AFC opening to line up with the coil?
Look at the pic I posted above, the airflow goes through two recessed slots, so it doesn't matter how open or closed off you have the AFC, it should still hit the coils directly. We'll just have to get the coils in front of those two slots, which should be easy with the two post deck.
From what I can see the air will hit the coils from the front and you adjust how much with the ring. Looks pretty neat! [emoji3]

I had big hopes for the rtda. I cannot seem to love it like I should. This UD one looks like they've taken steam craves idea and improved it to be what it should have been.From the few pics I've seen, its got a Goliath style build deck by the looks of it, which still allows for nice center builds. It does have a metal AFC, and two air slot areas.
I for one will watch with eager anticipation! [emoji3]

WOW !! I'm glad I didn't grab the Aromamizer. I was waiting for another manufacturer to design one. Never thought it be from my favorite. Sweet !
With a little love the flavor is stunning. Unfortunately the love includes ugly tape. I've thought about very short stainless, blind rivets to block the extra holes.
Get some of the new 2 hole vape bands. I ordered some with my new Aromamizer in case I want them.
I'd rather use tape honestly, thanks for the info. I see they have the new deck as well. I can order the Youde for nearly the same price. I'm torn between flavor and my wallet.
No, mine has been fully open since I went to the quad vertical build. Looks much nicer without the vape band
I did grab a couple though in case I should want them with the new Velocity deck, or some other build in the future.
No I do as well occasionally, I am just not a big fan of the 4 air hole design because once you manage to get your coils lined up with 2 (something that is harder than it should be) the other 2 tend to point right at the posts and just kinda flood the chamber with air which dilutes the flavor. I find myself running 2 more than 4 out of compromise. I have found that with the quad vert build it kinda works full open but the flavor still gets a bit diluted compared to 2 holes, it just allows you to bump up the watts a bit with the extra airflow.
In the end though I really have no brand loyalty in the vape world, if UD can manage to improve the design just a bit while at the same time cutting the price in half then for me the choice is obvious. I doubt it will be 100% flawless, no attys really are, but at $20 if it gives me a good quality vape and has good build quality I got 0 complaints.
Side note: At the $20 price that makes this the cheapest I have ever spent on an authentic atty at starting retail (not including sales months down the line) so I am willing to give a big thumbs up on that to UD.
This one looks interesting and based on UD's reputation, definitely on my radar. Currently, I only have 2 RTA's... An STM and a heavily bored out Aqua V2. I'd love to match the flavour and the airflow of my modified Av2 with convenient top-filling.

If its anything like my Goliath v2 it properly canes through the juice but I am running dual claptons at 50w

At 35 watts with dual coil twisted 28 my RDTA sucks down juice, the 3ml version is gone in a few hours.
I'm sure. But, I get plenty of flavor with 2 Goliaths, 1 Goliath V2, 1 Goblin, and the mini Goblin. The Bellus looks so sleek and sexy!
I've only owned two UD attys. The aga t5 and t7. Both are beautifully machined. However, several people reported bad machining on their Goblins so I never bought one. And wasn't the first Goliath a bomb?
