I am new to vaping (a month in) and upgraded from a C-Twist to a ZMAX and am very impressed. No issues so far and everything is simple to use and working 100% correctly.

Am currently using a VIVI-Nova and smoking Halo's freedom juice, AVE Hype, and Halo's Turkish blend. Still researching for the best cart-tank's to use besides a NOVA

Very satisfied customer!

I fixed that for ya. ;) ;)
Woot! to a month of vaping, John!!
(Good gear and good juices :))

For a carto/tank setup that matches well with a Max, lemme recommend a ST DCT with a Boge 801 Fusion XL carto. You'll need a 510->801 adapter and a carto punch (self tapping saddle valve at your local hardware store).

Since your only a month old and may not be too keen on doing mods yourself yet as this poster suggested, may I recommend a typical 510 DCT Smoktech Tank with a few different ohm carto replacements. I have also heard pretty good things about the eGo Mega Dual Coil cartos that can hold up to 5ml of juice. Madvapes carries both.

I'm also a new owner and new vaper. I can't compare my SS Zmax with anything else since its all I have had so far.
I can say that I'm happy I went with this device and it has let me quit analogs for a bit over a week now.

You are doing it all wrong!!! You've gotta waste a bunch of money on little thin 510s or 808s before moving up to an eGo and then on to stuff like the Zmax.

Welcome to vaping and welcome to ECF!! ;)

But, that chart is useless when you are trying to relate it to a wildly inaccurate device like the Z.

(Or, rather the Z is useless when trying to relate to real world numbers.)

Remarkable for a one month in vaper-newb! But great choice; I mean aside from nuking a couple LR cartos/coils due to the Zap of the Zmax, that's a small price to pay for a sure-fire no-fooling vapor monster.

and yeah, the Zmax and Vmax do not conform to charts, meters, and other electronic laws and such... it's just a monster and it kicks ..... It's like Lightning in a Tube.

All reviews have said that the reason it hits so hard is because it will come up much higher than the set voltage when you try to meter it... if you can meter it.
In other words, when you set at 3.0v it will vape about 3.8 or something.
ok yeah I am not too familiar with the Z/Vmax's. Can you explain why its useless to use the chart?

Actually, much higher than that... and inconsistent, so there is just no easy translation to set voltages.
