Hi,
My name is Terri. I am from Texas and have been vaping for 19 days. So far, i think my hubby and i have made about all the regular newbie mistakes. We bought the Total Vapor system at the mall as we were far too excited about not smoking to wait for shipping from the net. Spent a lot of money we didnt have too, but, hey. we are smoke free for the first time in over 30 years.

I didnt want to stop smoking btw. My husband is a musician and when a friend went to ecigs and got his voice back, so did my husband. When hubby made it two days on ecigs with no problems, I decided he was serious so i knew i better get with the program before he couldnt stand being in a room with me.

We are using a 60/40 pg/vg mix in our juices. Ego-t's with clearomizers, though, we have new, better batteries coming today. I am also looking for a good clearomizer not made with the polycarbonate tank (if anyone knows of a good glass one).

I have been lurking the forum for a couple of weeks now, figured it was time to drop in and say "Thanks for the advice," and of course, Hello ;)

Currently if you want to have a glass tank you need to purchase either a cartomizer tank setup or a rebuildable atomizer, both of which are fiddly to set up. If you are concerned about the juices that react badly to plastic tanks I would suggest getting a Vivi Nova and purchasing the replacement anodized aluminum tanks. The anodized aluminum is non-reactive and can be safely used with any juice and the Vivi Novas are very easy to use and maintain.
These videos explain the Vivi Novas. You don't need to worry about the rebuilding part unless that is something you would like to do.
