Anyways I was wondering and i found this Godsend of a site. More or less Im already confused more than every by all the gear involved, i figured there was just an "atomizer?" and a cartridge.. most of the rest is already greek to me, any advice or pointers would be much obliged.

About to get my last pack of Reds, was hoping to make a decision on a starter kit and a supplier for liquid, the best i have yet so far is a recommendation of Bluemistvaping.com as they have decent liquids at a good price.

As far as a starter kit or the proper gear? I have been smoking for over 10 years and yeah im not sure, so if some Vets could voice their opinion then i would be greatly appreciative.

I started with a 510 and quit smoking with an eGo. So the eGo gets my vote for a starting kit. Cartomizers are easy to start with, just watch the videos and make sure you fill them completely (or they burn the dry filler and stink).

There are many choices, but for switching off of cigs and getting started- eGo would be my advice.
I use mods now, but starting with them wouldn't have worked for me- I needed the form factor of a tube, the battery life of an ego and the simplicity of cartomizers.
Check the Deals and Steals PIF thread for all of the great sales and I'm sure others will chime in to help!

Good luck and Welcome!

Definitely go with an eGo system. 2 batteries will get you through the day, though a 3rd battery will ensure you're never without a charged battery. It has a 510 connection which is good since there are so many options for the 510. I got an Tornado-t (eGo-t rebranded) and quickly moved on to the Vivi Nova tank on my tornado batteries. I still use the t system though for when I go kayak fishing.

And Amish Ed there is no better way to go fishing now, completely one with nature lol (as far as 21st century modern science is concerned)

Definitely the way to go. I fish for saltwater bass and I have to do it every week. Getting into vaping has been a little tough, but I finally got a lanyard and with the eGo-t setup it'll work. I'll be missing my Vivi Nova while I'm on the water though.

Okay this is a Kgo kit with cartomizers. SLB KGO Starter Kit for about $44. Kgo, ego, riva are all the same type of thing. I know someone who got this kit from this vendor 6 months ago and still likes it. I have gotten some other things a couple of times from DCV and have been happy with all of it.

I thought I read somewhere that the Kgo and eGo used different polarities. Am I wrong?

Paypal won't allow payments for E-cig purchases for American vendors. Sorry.
