Newb signing in

First post here. I've tried a few vv style unit like the itaste but really wanted to try out a mech. I just got a Nemesis and getting to know how it works.
Thanks to all for great info here and any advice for a newb would be welcomed.

Hi Mario!

Before you go "crunchy munchy" on the mech mod, PLEASE educate yourself on battery safety. Make sure you're VERY WELL AWARE of the battery limits. There's a good source of info here: Batteries and Chargers

Be familiar with Ohms and Watts law to ensure you don't try to overdrive the mod.

Thanks. I admit I'm a little intimidated by the mech but there's no doubt this is way more fun for me. And if it helps me quit smoking all the better.

Personally, I'm not a mech user. Since the DNA clones have come out, which I hear the DNA 30 can hit harder than a mech, I don't see
as much need for them. Especially since there's a lot of built in protection you don't get with a mod...
Maybe I'm just paranoid.

I fully agree with this advice. A mechanical mod is just a simple electrical device, no safety mechanisms or other electronics. A solid understanding of voltage, amperage, wattage, and resistance is a must. Using one is more like a hobby; definitely not a plug and play out of the box vaper.
