hello all :)

was given a vivi Nova , which i am using with a 900amh ego battery

  1. I am not sure which type vivi nova i got , could do with an ID, as i need to buy another clear tube ( a cinammon casualty)
the graduations on the tube goes up to 3ml .. cant find any uk sites with the same replacement... anyone point me in the right direction?
2.it came different coil heads of different resistance 2.8, 2.4 and 1.8 ohm..... as a newb, i am not sure what that all means.
what difference does the resistance make. , which is best with a 900amh ego battery?
3. can i buy the heads separately online in the uk?
4. lastly, the vivi nova looks kinda odd stuck on top of the ego battery. Is there some kind of collar or tube that i can fit over the threads of the ego battery. looks weird and also i cant use my lanyard.. so killed a few batteries by having them in my back pocket

many thanks

There are a lot of threads that explain the relationship between ohms (the resistance of your coil heads) and voltage (output of power from your battery. The 900mah on your battery is the capacity, not the output. I'd be easier to determine what head to use if you find the voltage output of your bat. Higher resistance heads can tolerate higher voltage outputs without the ill effects of running your coil too hot. For example, 3.3v on a 1.8ohm head will produce ok results. But on a 2.8ohm head, 3.3v is not really enough power to heat your coil enough to get a good Vape. Aside from researching your battery and looking up vaping power charts, Your best bet would be to try each head on your battery and find which one works best for you. 1.8 will yield a hotter Vape than the higher resistance. Find your sweet spot.

Hope this helped. There are plenty of videos on the net to help. Good luck!
