Welcome to ECF! You've raised a number of issues, so I'll tackle them one at a time.

  1. I assume the "15 ohms coil" is a typo. You might have a 1.5 ohm coil, but since you're using a SMOK product I'd guess it's actually a 0.15 ohm coil.
  2. Don't worry about temperature settings at the moment. You only have to set temperature when you're using 'TC mode' (temperature control mode), and that can only be used with certain types of coil. I'm willing to bet the coil you're using isn't one of them, so you should be in wattage or power mode. If you want to try out TC when you're more familiar with vaping you can get a different tank then, but a lot of people are perfectly happy with power mode and never bother with TC.
  3. That leaves us with your main question, where to set the power or wattage. Your box of coils should show a recommended wattage range. If you don't have the box, it should also be written on the coil itself (although I hope you have good eyesight in that case!). Recommended wattages are usually overstated, so start by setting your wattage to about half the bottom number in the range - if it says 60 - 80 watts, start at 30 w. Vape there for a while. See how you like it. Then try increasing it to 35 or so. Continue going up by 5 or so watts until the vape stops getting better and starts getting worse. Then back down to where it was best. That's the right wattage for you.
  4. It's possible you can't find a good spot with your current coil because you started out too high or too fast and burnt the wick. Once the wick is burnt, the taste will stay burnt even when you go down to a more suitable wattage. The only solution is to replace the wick (and if it was really burnt, sometimes you need to replace the juice too.) It's also important to prime the coil before you start vaping on a new coil - that means dripping some juice down the centre of the coil and anywhere you can see the white cotton wick, and then installing the coil and filling the tank and letting it stand for 10 or 15 minutes. This gets the wick full of juice before you start, because dry wick will just burn.
I hope some of that helps. If not, feel free to ask for clarification or further suggestions. Good luck!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"Sweet spots" are not a rule. There is no one sweet spot, you have to find it.
Assuming you mean 0.15 ohms, start at maybe 60 watts then increase wattage from there until you find your "sweet spot". If you mean 1.5 ohms, start at maybe 8 watts instead. But if you really meant 15 ohms, you can forget it, you'll likely not find any sweet spots with a 15 ohm coil.

Welcome to the Forum.

I honestly think the best advice available has already been given so I'll not repeat it.

88Vape Liquid is all I've used for years but I'm what they call a Tootle Puffer - I use 1.6 Ohm coils at 8 -10 watts with 16 strength liquid and it works just fine for me.

If you go on to 88 Vape's online site - depending on what flavour you want you might find offers like £22.00 for 25 bottles with free delivery. They are fast to deliver, pack the stuff well and in my experience are 100% reliable.
