Hi, I have been three weeks off stinkies!!! Woo hooo!!! I initially quit using green smart living e-cig which is ok but now I am looking for something with a heavier throat hit and more vapor. I choose the Ego CE4 kit and so I was wondering what else do I need to buy to get my kit fully ready? It comes with all the basics but I am going to need more atomizers, any recommendations? I have a local vaping store called vapure in san diego where I can pick up supplies. Also for juices PG or VG or a mix? I heard VG can clog this model is that true?
Also advice to someone setting up their first system, mistakes you made that you want to share so I wont do the same thing? I guess I am most worried about filling it on my own with the needle bottle. Any advice would be appreciated about this model and juices. Thanks, Patty

VG is thicker than PG and I normally use a mix. Something like 70& PG and 30 VG. IMO that gives a good around experience.

TBH, I don't think you need anything else. You have you need to get going. Probably best if you trying different juices is to use one for the flavour testing and when your happy with one use a CE4 just for that flavour. That's what I do anyhow.

For juices, the best investment is buying sample packs rather than buying in larger amounts. Taste is very subjective and your taste buds will change over time as they recover from regular cigs. I thought I just had to have juice with the most tobacco taste when I first started out so that's what I bought. That lasted for about 2 weeks and I went to other vendors and juices. I make my own juices now and have not purchased commercial juice in a very long time so I can't say which vendor to try first but I'm sure that others will be along to give a heads up on who their favorites are.

Thanks for your advice, I got set up at vapure in san diego with some atomizers and some starter juice samples. I also got to try out the juices and ego there and see what I was getting in the mail. You are very right about taste buds changing, I have been off stinkies for only three weeks and my sense of smell and taste are doing wacky things to me. Its weird to smell things and taste all of a sudden, but good. Needless to say I cannot freaking wait for my Ego to arrive.. Happy Vaping!! I am so glad I found this site!!

Hi yogisd,
Good luck to you
Drink plenty of water. Don't overtighten any of these things....bad things can happen. Cleaning this stuff before first use is a good idea, though many of us get away with not doing it. Its good to have a spare charger and extra batteries. Try something different, like the Kanger T2. Everyone is different and the only way to know what you like is to experiment.
