Good plan Skold, thanks. I'll have to go in search of one, I've heard good things about the triton mini (it takes the same coils, right?). Around here it's all Kangertech all the time, I'll have to venture into some of the more exciting smoke shops, LOL, Tucson's filled with them (I think many of them are... Well, it's kind of like tattoo parlours, there are so many per square feel that, even WITH the fact that much of Tucson is highly tattood, I kind of assume most of them are money laundering places.) Not all bad, the house we bought here was a *steal* as it was owned by one of the Major Cartel guys around here and they laundered money by "rehabbing" it, at vastly overinflated prices (we have a loadbearing wall that can be poked about 1/2 inch inward, with one's finger....) The neighbors, again, were so happy as they were also storing ah, stuff, in it, and they were scared the guy was going to give it to his nephew or whatnot and remain indefinitely..... We got it ridiculously cheaply, and nothing found yet other than *a bunch* of shoddy work.

Anna
The triton mini is a good tank & yeah it does I use the 1.8 Nautilus coils in mine.
Oh man I hate kanger stuff :(

Haha I love your stories, your so interesting :)

Well, I must have some sort of wierd clone or something, unless I'm missing something very obvious? It.... maybe it's some sort of modified mini that's bigger? The instructions clearly indicate it's bottom fill. I had at it again this morning, and the freaking... The tank is a sieve. I found where the atomizer goes, made sure it was well screwed in (it wasn't), it's still *leaking* like crazy especially with the airflow opened fully.... IDK, I'm not too thrilled with it at this point, it draws horribly too.... Guess I need to do some research. :) I don't think it's the real thing... I'm going to empty it, wash it out thoroughly, and experiment with it using my least favorite juice, to even see if I can get it not to leak. :)

Anna

It sounds like you are talking about the original Nautilus and Nautilus Mini:

Here's the Nautilus 2:

Here's the Nautilus X:

Here's how you adapt it to 4 ml:

I enjoy aspire tanks & the zelos is an okay mod but that aspire archon is terrible. It performs great but is like having plastic in my hands!

Aw, man. I just saw one for $20 and was thinking about buying it because it has a more modern chipset than mine. It wasn't available in black though and I have an 'all black' theme going on.

I thought the firmware was great, it's also the most accurate reading I've ever seen on any of my mods but just feels so cheap.
My favourite dual battery mod is the tesla nano steampunk & I still use my Alien alot, in fact vaping on it as we speak! :)

I have used a bunch of devices over the years. I started with those crappy Chinese e-cigs in 2010. I shouldn't talk so badly about them, they did allow me to avoid smoking in the car with my family. But I still smoked while using them. Now I have a stealth AIO, a carry-around AIO, and a 'main' box mod.

To be fair I've had some pretty crappy mods, my main mods are tesla nano & pico. I've got 20 other mods I don't even use. I've gone through alot of garbage to find mods that suite me.
The pico with NautilusX is definitely a good setup but if I feel like sub ohming I use my tesla an cleito :)
I had a nautilus 2 on another mod but my n2 keeps leaking :(
What's your main mod??

I have the Sigelei Fuchai 200W+TC, been using it for a year and a half. The damn thing won't die on me so I can't get a new one, blah. I upgraded from a Sigelei 100W box...and that thing won't die either. I gave it away when I got this one and the 100W box is still going strong for a friend of mine. I think I just barely missed the time when Sig mods started getting crappy. This Fuchai even does TC really well. I'm using it at 450-475 and the thing heats up quickly and keeps temp just fine with my old Arctic V8.

...and for MTL I slap my NautX on this thing and vape for a week on two 18650's, lol. I give away mods that I don't use. I'm down to three that fit certain niches.

I've never had one of them but I can imagine the NautilusX on a dual battery mod would give some damn good battery life, really good tank but I think the nautilus mini is better. Vaping the mini on a pico as we speak, I always go back to my trusty mini. I'm gonna pick up a spare :)
I've gave quite a few mods away too & I'm still left with 20! I don't want to have so many, with my pico an some spare batteries I'm happy...

I was a pack+ a day smoker for about 30 years. I smoked cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, used chew, and even used actual snuff. I'll blame it on being a Virginian and loving pork and tobacco. Or being an ex NAVY guy. Or something, lol, I'll think of something. So I got the NautX and the 4 ml extension. On a dual 18650 box mod. If I'm not doing something then I'm puffing away. I just noticed someone refer to this Vape A Vet program that tries to supply military and ex-miltary personnel with vape gear and juice. I wonder if they take donations?

Listopencil, you are correct, it's an original Nautilus. It's huge, it looks extremely delicate and finnicky, but it's good to know what it is, because it tastes *just like* my [unspecified] last tank I bought a few years ago (can't remember what it was nor find it, nor do I want to), I can't get it to vape smoothly, it leaks, (well, my last tank didn't, at least) and it tastes like a mouthful of some unspecified metal like my last tank (I hate metal driptips).

LOL, I guess I have been spoiled by my *at least* year plus away from vaping, and by using the Nautilus 2. At least it was cheap.... And, it's pretty, so I probably shouldn't use it, maybe I can buy a silver Tesla mini and use this sucker on top but only *after* the vapeapocalypse arrives, LOL.

You know, I think I'm just going to buy a few more Nautilus 2 tanks in different colors.... I tend to like what I like, and until I get into coilbuilding, I'm not going to buy anything super expensive anyway..... At which point, I might buy whatever *latest and greatest* thing that does TC and whatnot. Unless this particular purchase and my ability to *identify it* disqualifies me from building forever....

I loved that original Nautilus when it came out. I had it sitting on an Innokin SVD. I loved it so much that I bought an SVD and a Nautilus for my son who was also a smoker. Just a great tank for its time. But, looking back, it has its problems compared to newer tanks. It's outdated now. I went from that to the Atlantis eventually. I think the Naut2 looks pretty cool. I like the bell shape and it looks like the glass is well protected. I just won't buy a 2 ml tank though. I need a bigger juice supply. So the NautX with 4 ml extender did it for me. Now I'm seeing a kit where you can turn the NautX into a RDA, a RDTA, and a squonker. It has all the pieces. So tempting.

I was a 40-60 day a smoker for 14 years, I'm very young & worth a thought dunno.

My original nautilus never leaks, I actually find that the nautilus 2 does. I prefer my Nautilus mini. It has been my favourite tank for 3 or 4 years ;)

The nautilus 2 isn't really 2ml by the time you fill it up is it cos you can't fill it the full :(
