Hi everyone. My name is Drew, and I just received my first PV -- a Joye 510 -- after reading all over the internet about how good it was. I purchased it from e-smokeytreats.com. They shipped everything to me very quickly and with two flavors: chocolate and coffee.

Let me start out by saying "Blech" about the flavors. I was hoping for something akin to a vaporized snickers bar with the chocolate, but the vapor tasted like rock concert fog where someone who'd earlier eaten a snickers bar just farted. And there was an unusual beer aftertaste that I can't quite figure out. The coffee flavor was a little more detectable -- still rock concert fog where someone once spilled a cup of coffee.

I was hoping that the flavors would be more much intense, and I wondered if this is as good as it gets, or if I should try elsewhere for liquids. I realize that they are subjective, but I am trying to use very low (6mg and 0mg) liquid to slowly kick the habit, and these flavors are just bleh.

They also shipped with some prefilled "med-Tob" carts that tasted like tobacco (well done to them for that) but really I'm trying to use the 510 to wean myself from my 1-2 pack Camel habit, and would like to stick with sweet, rich, fruity, and creamy flavors to keep reminders at bay.

Can anyone recommend pre-mixed liquids that are strongly flavored and come in low-to-no nicotine and which taste better than e-smokeytreats? I'll happily keep using what I have if this the best there is. Unfortunately, that makes my PV a pleasant departure FROM SMOKING, but not an enjoyable experience in itself. I'd be thrilled if someone responded that I'm missing out on all the awesome flavors from other vendors, and who've had a similar experience with e-smokeytreats.

Hey Ganellon, welcome to ECF!

There are TONS of juice suppliers out there, but not a whole lot available inbetween 12mg and 0. So, here's one solution.

Tasty Vapor is raved about all over the place, but their juices don't come under 12mg. So, what you can do, is buy a juice in 12mg, and a doubler in the same flavor, which is just the juice without nicotine.

A half-and-half mix will land you at 6mg e-juice. The only other thing you'll need is some empty bottles to put it in.

Just out of curiousity, did you blow the primer fluid from the atomizers before you started using it? I failed to do this when I got my first device and the taste was pretty rough.

I second the Tasty Vapor recommendation. I just tried them for the first time after trying MANY other companies and the flavor from Tasty Vapor is above and beyond the rest. If you like cinnamon you HAVE to try their Atomic Cinnacide.

Thank you for the suggestions. I was looking at Viking Vapors and Vapor Bomb earlier today, but am hesitant to place another order for juice unless there is some indication that they will be significantly better than the juice I bought from e-smokeytreats. If they are only marginally better, I can live with the current juice until I run out, and then weigh my options.

I did not blow the fluid from the atomizers before I used them; that was not listed in the included instructions. However, I ordered extra atomizers that have yet to be opened. Can you give me an idea on how to remove the fluid from the atomizer? It would be great if that were the answer to the flavor problem.

Hold (not grip tightly, just hold it) atty in a paper towel (thred end in paper towel), remove mouthpiece, cover opening with mouth and blow HARD.
Liquid (primer) will drip out into paper towel.
Then clean off threads with towel, reverse atty, and blow again.
Clean atty once more with paper towel, prime with juice (a few drops onto the bridge), reattach mouthpiece and primer puff (no inhale) for a few times.
Repeat - vape normally.

Hey Ganellon. Can't help with atty's, I use cartos. But CaptJack seems to know his stuff.

I've not heard much about Viking Vapor, but I hear pretty much nothing but great things about Vapor Bomb. I'd expect awesomeness.

VaporBomb is my go-to vendor. They are great to work with, and I love their flavors. My very favorite right now is Blueberry. However......your taste buds are "dead" right now.....as they come alive, all the juices will taste different. That's the truth. Hang in there....the juices (and trying all the new ones or different ones all the time) are a big part of the fun of vaping. No matter WHAT juice you get, it'll taste better than a cigarette. Once you're away from cigs, you'll be surprised at how nasty they really taste if you ever go back and try one.

I agree entirely with this. Your taste buds will "wake up" the more you get away from analogs. Tasty vapor is an excellent vendor IMHO. Also for a good coffee try vaporstations cafe sumatra

Thanks to everyone who's posted; I sincerely appreciate it. I have one more question, and I hope you all can answer it for me.

When I visited Tasty Vapor and Vapor Bomb, the selection process requires you to select a specific mixture of pg/vg. I've also read that people have destroyed their atty by using improper mixtures, so I got paralyzed at the check-out counter, one click away from getting yummy juice!

Since I have a Joye 510, can you tell me what balance I should have for pg/vg so I don't ruin my pv? Thank you again for your help.

High VG juices can be tough on attys because it's quite thick, but they are usually thinned down with water. I wouldn't really worry about ordering from a company like them. They know how to make juice that won't totally wreck your atty. VG creates more vapor, but saps flavor.

I personally prefer a mix, heavy on the PG side. Good flavor, but still with some exra vapor.

But everyone has their own preference.

My current favorite is Tasty Vapor German Choc Cake --- I have a wicked sweet tooth, I guess. 100% Pg juices tend to seem more flavorful but the VG juices have lots and lots of vapor... I usually order 80%pg with 20% vg - enough to give it a vapor boost without dulling down the flavor (to me) You can also have them add sweetener if you want.
All of the VaporBomb juices I have tried have been quite good also... good luck!

the higher the PG you use, the more throat hit you're gonna get. Especially using the low nicotine. I recommend both tasty vapor and vapor bomb.. both have strong flavors.. MsT's also has strong flavors, but her prices are slightly higher. My favorites from VaporBomb are cinnabomb and strawberry waffles with whipped cream (they usually toss freebies in there, too.. with super fast shipping).. fav from tasty vapor is banana nut bread. just my two cents!

80/20 PG/VG or 70/30 works very well - too much VG can often the flavor and too little will reduce your vapor clouds. VG can also add a little sweetness but at 80/20 ou really don't notice it. PG carries flavor better and gives more TH.
Remember also that the higher the PG the thinner the juice will be so be careful dripping it out

I highly recommend Tasty Vapor. The best flavor so far is Atomic Cinnacide. It is like a strong fireball!!
