Welcome.....I'm new here and to and have also found out everything we need to know is right here in ECF. As for the taste buds..... not sure ,i've been vaping for about 2 weeks and everything seems to taste OK.
Welcome Jake. Sounds like you are off to a good start. Not sure about the taste buds, may be a few days or it could be a few weeks. Just hang in there and as they say "vape on".

Oh and your taste buds will keep getting better and better. I think it took about a month before I was really tasting all of the flavors. It may depend on how long you smoked.

I knew my taste buds had come back about 3 weeks in; when I had a grilled cheese sandwich that nearly brought me to my knees because it tasted exactly like I remember them tasting when I was a little kid.
For me, it wasn't a gradual improvement (but everybody's different).

back to topic, lol, i have been off analogs for a month now and the first thing i noticed was my cardio immediately got better.
energy level keeps getting higher and higher. i love it. taste is still working its way back in but i can definitely tell a difference.
hang in there, enjoy that wonderful town, and vape hard !

UPDATE started vaping 4 11 11 on 4 22 11 I can finally taste something cinnamon roll e juice wonderful flavor

I started vaping almost 2 months ago and noticed my taste buds improving dramatically after about 2 weeks, then I came down with a sinus infection and couldn't taste anything for a week and a half. Now that I am over that, my taste buds are back in full force better than I ever remember! Love it!
