Hi All,

I took up smoking when I was 21. I'm now 24 and want to quit tobacco. I smoke a 12mg cigarette, and smoke 15 to 20 cigs per day. I discovered e-cigarettes through an ad on facebook.

My goal is to cut my cigarette consumption in half over a month.

I looked at an e-cig review site and ordered an njoy NPRO starter kit. It's my first e-cig purchase. I have no idea if it's any good or not.

I'd love it if someone could recommend an e-cig that

*Has an LED that isn't orange so it's obvious I'm not smoking a tobacco cig
*Delivers a decent nicotine hit
*Has a portable recharger/cartridge carrier
*Is available outside the USA

Thanks for your help :D

Filling carts is easy don't worry - it's really not rocket science, even *I* manage it! IMO the manual batts are often easier and more controllable than the autos. SOME autos don't respond well to loud noises. Deffo pop over to the Aussie forum they have lots of info for Aussie PVers in particular as your import rules and laws differ from the US ones; don't want you to fall foul of the 'man' :)

Okay, I've done some research and have decided to go with the Joye 510. I want to purchase from eastmall. Does anyone know if these batts come with a blue LED?

Consider this:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...66-510-mega-batteryies-good-2.html#post893953

This is a 'mega' kit - using the longer lasting mega Joye 510 batteries with a blue led ;-) - they are about an inch longer than the regular ones and last 2x as long. They don't fit in a PCC - personal charging case, but they in one sense, do away with the need for one. Lasting 3-4 hours, more if you're a light smoker.

You could get the regular kit at heaven gifts and just add two megas also, of course.

If you wanna go with the Joye510 maybe check out cignot.com or Bluegrassvapor.com also I just got some extra parts for my 510 at wordupecig.com, believe they have Joy510 kits also. There are so many vendors right here on this forum that sell the Joy510 :) I don't know much about EastMall. I do know cignot got my Joy510 kit to me in 2 days!! N I am in love! I have been buying extra batteries, chargers, e-juice, and atomizers at the places mentioned. Also lot's of info on this site about the Joy510 how to kinda stuff. I hope your first ecig experience rocks! Since getting mine, I haven't wanted to smoke since!! Good Luck to you hun!!!!!!!!!! My Led are Purple, Red, Blue and I got my one Blue Led at cignot. Just look when getting the kit what's in it and the color batteries, Led, auto and manual. I personally love the manual the best. When I got my cignot I chose one manual and one auto to see what I would like best. I recommend a personal charging kit and or extra batteries and an extra charger source. That is if you loves it and wanna get more. Cause the batteries don't last long and you gotta stay on top of em. Mine are Vap machines! I <3 them!

[...]I smoke a 12mg cigarette, and smoke 15 to 20 cigs per day.[...]

This will NOT translate into your needing 12 mg. juice, but it's not a bad place to start. You are what I would call a "light" smoker. It wouldn't surprise me if you needed something higher or lower.

[...]My goal is to cut my cigarette consumption in half over a month.[...]

You'll likely do much better than that. :D

[...]I looked at an e-cig review site and ordered an NJOY NPRO starter kit. It's my first e-cig purchase. I have no idea if it's any good or not. [...]

It was my first, as well. It gets a lot of bad press here in the forums, primarily because it is considered to be "overpriced" and people feel they've been ripped off. However, NJoy has a great warranty and customer service. If something dies, just call them up and they'll send a replacement.

I hated mine, because I'm a heavy smoker, I didn't know how to use it properly, and they have awful tasting juice that is insanely over-priced.

As a light smoker, it may be all you ever need (once you find a source for juice, and learn to refill the cartridges).

[...]I'd love it if someone could recommend an e-cig that

The LED can be modified without much trouble. Carefully pop the plastic cover off and you'll see what I mean. It's not even a necessity, you can safely remove it if you like. Just cut the wires and make sure the ends can't touch.

As to your other questions, you may want to check in the Australian sub-forum [link]. You may need to have 15 posts before you can join/post in the forum, but they would likely have better-informed answers about local availability of products than anyone else. :)

Thanks for your help :D

Any time! You won't find a more friendly, helpful bunch of people than here in this forum.

Just another quick question: how many puffs do you get on average from a cart? Some e-cigs claim to give 200+ puffs, but what can I really expect from my 510? I'd like to know how often I'll be refilling.

Also, how long do carts last after you've filled them until they dry out? I don't want to fill a bunch of carts then discover that they've all evaporated or something.

Thanks again.

200 puffs?!! If its a fresh pre-filled cart I probbaly get about - hmmm...20 max before I have to top off (or theres a harsh too dry taste) this is off the 510 cart - I can't speak for anything larger cos I haven't used anything else.
I use my own juice now and I top it off pretty much after every 10 puffs cos I 'likes it strong'! Sometimes its more often than 10.
Carts with lids on (please god don't call em cart condoms ) shouldn't evaporate at all. Keep them out of sunlight though while not in use.

That's awesome!

Oh, and as for your question: High Voltage atomizers would be used in a High Voltage "mod" like The Chuck, The Silver Bullet, The GGT, etc.

Your stock battery puts out 3.7 Volts, and the HV mods put out (more or less) 5, 6, or 7.4 Volts depending on battery configuration.

OH MY SWEET GOD!!!

I got my Joye 510 on Friday, and haven't smoked an analog since. I am so unbelievably happy. My eyes don't sting when I get vapour in them. My smokers' cough is going away. My clothes don't smell. My senses of taste and smell are improved. I'm not edgy all the time. I'm not spending ten bucks a day.

I've wanted to quit tobacco so badly for 3 years, and I can't believe I'm really doing it!!

Thank you all for all your help!! ECF rocks!!
