I called the B&M. Evidently the "mass" I originally bought was 85/15. She mixed it 50/50. Thus the suckage. She's having me over after hours to sort it out and make a new mix for me.

I do have sub zero from halo. It's, eh, on a scale of one to mass, about a 7. If you want a menthol you can feel down to the bottom of your lungs, that stays cold, not burny or warm. Mass is it. It's just better. It even hits hard out of an 808 bloog and a mistic...

This is where they originally got the flavor from.

Mass Menthol E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com

Beats the whole halo sampler pack by a mile.

Vapor-x has a blueberry that is atomic. It is so harsh, it makes me ill if I don't go real easy on it. But the flavor is beyond potent. It was a gas station brand. I have the strawberry too but it's a little gentler.

They don't have a lot of fruit flavors, I am in love with Tribeca and Belgian cocoa mixed with a few drops of Kringle's curse. I've tried a lot of vendors in the past couple months and so far they and vapor chef are the only places I'd buy more from. Try eliquidsamples they had about 5-6 different blueberry or blueberry waffles/ cheesecake/ muffins etc flavors. Its expensive per ml but not as expensive as 50 bottles sitting around you'll never use

I saw that Belgium Cocoa .. I must try that one for sure :)

Hi all!

<snip>
Equipment list:

Innokin - iTaste vv 3.0
KangerTech - mini protank-II
5 pack of KT 2.5 ohm coils
2 plastic 2.4ml clear atomizer tanks ($5-6)

House menthol blend 18mg (30ml)
(It's like a slightly more peppermint Newport I'd say)

It works well and was an acceptable size. (Barely)
How did I do?

I think very well. I have been vaping for about a year and moved through things much slower than apparently you did. I started with a disposable. The thing was
just plain NASTY. I thought this would never work. I was still smoking at the time and liked Davidoff. Comparing the taste of the disposable to a high end European
cigarette was just awful. So I ignored vaping for a while. Then I figured out that it might be good to spend more than $4 on a device. That lead me to V2 e-cigs.
You pay a premium for some that looks quite like a cigarette. Also, they don't follow any of the new industry standards. Their chargers etc were incompatible
with the rest of the world but they had good liquids.

That convinced me to quit smoking for good in May of last year. I moved up to a standard 650 mAh battery and an all in one tip. The place I was getting those
was really a cigarette store that had these as a side line. They worked fine but it did not take that long to kill the topper. So this past week my wife and I attended
a small, family business that just works with personal vaporizers (PVs).

My basic setup is the similar to yours. I have a simple 1300 mAh mechanical variable voltage unit. I like the Kangertech setup. What was really
different about this place is they took the time to actually work with us. Plus they actually do mix their own juice. I know because we watched the owner mix
the flavors we bought. Plus they had about 60 different flavors to try. In reality when you are past the first five or so flavors, you begin to lose the ability to discern fine tastes. So we tried about eight and settled on four.

I would suggest finding a place like this near you. I support small businesses and would rather work with them than big anonymous internet people. The tasting
we can do pretty much any time they are open (danger: it is a time eater!).

Most of the shops house blends are 50/50. They are mild, and probably work for most people. After our conversation tonight with the owner she's going to start working on the mix flavor by flavor until she finds the right balance for each one. (It's a brand new shop) I offered to guinea pig anything volatile she wanted to try. I think I'm more of a PG guy. I don't need clouds. And I don't like the dry taste in the 50/50's.

She also offered to swap out some of the flavors I recently bought there with stronger ones. So I definitely think this place will be worth the time letting them get things sorted out.

Ok last question (I think)

Are there any carto's that will give me this profile?

Thats a 400mah vision spinner with a single coil atty and an ego cone.

Its like the perfect pocket rig that still has some oomph. 3.3-4.8v

That Atty doesn't have a sealed adapter under it. Or is this basically as short as it can go? I'm thinking if you nix the drip tip and just use the traditional stopper in the carto I can stay that size?

Any recommendations? I like the tanks, don't get me wrong. The mini protanks are great. But the whole thing on the itaste VV is just too long for a pocket.

If you like small e-cigs, you may look 14500 mods. Because ego etc. are not be used continuously because died battery fast, but you can change it but it takes your time. The best is a good mods (VV/VW or mechanical) and batteries (18350,18490,18650 and 14500) and finally a good charger (nitecore etc.)

If you've got a tinkery gene, how about a flashlight tube? The batteries are o-ringed on most TAC lights, and they already facilitate a switch that's weather proof... And batteries... Yank the head. Gut the board out. Most lights have a snap ring holding the board element in front of the battery compartment. Use that to house your own electronics. Pick a threaded head / connection. Seal it. Go?

A site called shining beam has cheap lights ( that are really good for the money BTW) that I have had soaking wet and battered with muzzle blast from rifles and they don't take on water. I haven't submerged them in any serous way. But you could probably get into a decent tube for $20-25 that way. The lights they make, some are adaptable to use AA or CR123. And others. So... Should be able to get a tube size you want?
I am very interested in knowing what you know with regards to flashlight mods. There's so much info here and on the web, its a ..... to sift through it all.

My head is spinning just reading the OP's progress.

First of all, slow down! Like so many here have stated, your initial setup was nice one and should have given you enough to start. I know this is very exciting stuff and want to buy more everyday, but just remember that you don't need to have the "perfect" setup to enjoy vaping initially. More money on gear doesn't necessary mean better vaping. Nice thing about vaping gear is, just like cars, even a cheap crappy setup can be awesome if it is "tuned" right way. So spend less, slow down, learn, and enjoy!

I don't like to give out this recommendation for new people but it might work for you since you like to tinker. If you need the premium vapor and taste (the bomb), pick up a cheap IGO-W and do a simple single coil setup. If you watch few YouTube, you should be able to set it up in 10minutes. The taste and vapor will hit you like a train and definitely help getting over the analog hump. You can continue to use clearo during the day and drip when you come home. Don't need to buy premium RDA. IGO-W works like a champ and you can upgrade later along with a decent mech mod.

As some mentioned already, don't throw away the juice. Your tastebud change. Also the liquid flavor change when it sits for a while. Most importantly, dripping could bring out different set of taste.

Lastly, for easy portability, you might want to look into side by side configuration mod such as MicroStick or iTaste VTR. VTR is pretty heavy but built like a tank and size of 100's cigarette box. Zenesis Sidewinder 18350 is another option but pretty expensive. There are some bottom fed box mods starting to surface, but still pretty new. Side by side configuration will allow you to carry extra battery for quick change and use 510 based tanks for all day juice supply.

WoW, you are ahead of the game as far as being a new guy to vaping. It's a nice set-up. As you've discovered finding the right juice is a bit tricky. Your tastebuds will definitely change over the next few months so things will taste differently. Just let those juices sit that aren't sitting well with you now and try them again later. Good luck and Happy Vaping :vapor:

I'm already looking into RDA's. Dripping on this basic Atty isn't bad. But I was thinking a decent RDA might pack more punch. I guarantee you I can wind a coil. I spent a couple days watching ppl do it online and that looks easy. The question is what size wire and wick. Which rda to start with? I was looking at an aqua clone. And the IGO's. I think I want a smaller one and a larger one.

The gear I have will do 3.3-5v / 6-11w. I think it will carry 3.5amps before it kicks out.

As for slowing down, not likely. This is barely a small dent in my monthly gun habit. But... We were spending over $300 /mo on cigarettes anyway. So as of January. I'm still washing out. Big deal. I'm not smoking, the money was never the point anyway. Not smoking was.

I don't need $200 mods and $180 atomizers. The box mods just don't do it for me size wise. And I'm not sure about the mechanical mods yet. The 18500 seemed like a good size. But this spinner works just fine with my protank @ 4.8v. It's a 2.8ohm coil and it hits about as well as the itaste vv @ 8-9 watts.

I think with a basic carto and the right juice it will be fine for me at work. I clock 30-50 puffs throughout the day on the itaste. Battery life isn't a big deal. I pack on another 100-150 at home. But charging isn't, and hasn't been an issue at all. I think the I taste vv would last me 2-3 days.

So. Cartos for the vision, and rda's?

Voltages I can run;
3.3-5

Watts
6-11

3.5amp max load.

Recommendations welcome.

Also side bar:

Kanger T3's... Not awesome so far. Leaky, can taste plastic side effect in the flavor when I use them. Don't wick well even with high pg juices... eat juice pretty quick. I'll just buy pro tanks. She hates them so far too. Better clearos? I have a pack or so of kanger coils already. Are the t3S's better?

Noticing all of these don't wick great. MPT2 / PT3 / T3. Nothing I have is over 50/50. The protanks are great for flavor. But she vapes a lot and it gets dry-ish for her a lot.

Can those be rebuilt with cotton to wick better?

Absolutely nothing. I've had more than a few lights apart in my time. They go on rifles here, and when they break I like to know why so they come apart. So I know what the inside of a light usually looks like. I have zero experience making a mod from one. It was just the first thing I thought of when water proof was mentioned. Because a lot of lights are, it's just a matter of making one into a mod.

Electrical / mechanical doesn't scare me. But I cannot genuinely help other than theory. So I'd ask someone experienced to be safe.
