Hi guys! I'm new to vaping and I'm having some issues with it, need some advice on the issues that I'm facing, pardon me if they have been asked over and over again!

I got my EGO-T (I suppose it's the real stuff) last week and it came with 2 bottles of menthol liquid, together with 2 cartridges filled with Marlboro red flavored liquid. I tried both of them but it wasn't really comfortable. The Marlboro red flavor didn't gave me much of a 'feel' (like what they call TH?), and the menthol feels a little rough on my throat and causes some itch. The worst was that I don't feel anything after vaping, cos I took an analogue a while later and it send my head spinning...

Does TH actually means the roughness you get on your throat? Or should it be strong but smooth like analogues? Is there anything I should take note on my next liquid purchase?

Sounds like your vaping crappy juice and it just isn't doing anything for you.
For me, if the juice doesn't have enough nicotine, it will actually make me crave a real cigarette.
Also, if a juice has no throat hit, then it is less than worthless to me.
Good juice is not optional, it is absolutely ESSENTIAL.

Throat Hit, check out this link if you are confused about what it is.

I would go with a good juice vendor that ships your way. 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG is a pretty good place to start. Flavored tobaccos are usually a safe bet. Applewood Tobacco, Cherry Tobacco, RY4 or even Menthol Tobacco. Whatever sounds best to you.

After 5 posts and an hour, try posting for advice here SG Vapers.
Alot of SG vapers on ecforum!

Welcome Pauland. Keep posting and talking to us to get your post count up high enough to get to the SG Forum referenced above. You will find a lot of help there :)

Th is more of a fullness and feel to the vape than just harshness to me. I would compare it more to a lung hit. Most prefilled cartomizers that come with kits, are not very good.

You probably need a higher nic to start with too.

Good luck to you.

thanks salemgold, i'm trying to get my post count up now, but i dun wanna make it sound like i'm spamming :D

If you answer my question above, you will be at 5 posts. It can still take a bit for your account to be updated once you get to 5 posts though.

The forum refreshes at 20 minutes past the hour and I think that is when updates occur.

no idea, it came as a set with the starter kit i got. 2 x 10ml bottles with a 'Menthol' word sticker pasted over it and no other information. didn't really check when i bought it from the seller cos i knew nothing about juices. just realized how important is it...

I am thinking that it could be zero nicotine. Normally if there is nicotine in the liquid, it is on the label.

You may need 24 mg to start.

before i start vaping i took menthol lights, the tar - nic level is like 9mg to 0.7mg i think? will 24mg of nic in the juice be too much?

I found that the higher nic helped because you will also feel some withdraw from the other chemicals in the cigs besides the nicotine. Everyone is so different though. I smoked Menthol Lights too but I was a heavy smoker.

If you are able to order some 18 mg and some 24 mg to see what works best for you that might be best. Don't be afraid of the nicotine to start with. It is not at all uncommon to need to start higher to get off the cigs. Once you are off the cigs, it is easier to concentrate on dropping your nic levels down.

I started out on 18 mg prefilled cartomizers and would never have stopped smoking had I not moved up to the 24 mgs. But, that is what worked for me.

I used to smoke 1mg nic, 0.1 tar. I think the lightest in the world and only available in Japan. Anyway, I buy my juices 24mg to 36mg lol. Not saying you should though.

P.S. If you buy a juice too strong for your taste, you can always cut it by adding some VG, but if you buy it too weak, then it's too weak - end of story.
