Can someone compare the below model to the Riva 510 on LF for me please?

The Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit [Ideal for beginners] £32.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

I'd like to get my starter kit and my liquids from the same shop to combine delivery costs as I'm in Ireland so will probably buy from here but just wanted to make sure its not a totally different from the Riva 510 on LF as Ive tried one of those now and really like it.

Epic, I just received the 510 1100 mAh batt from Liberty Flights US yesterday. The batt is a little larger than the two Riva 510 650 mAh batts I got from them a few weeks back. Be carefull, the nameing convention is not standard and I don't think you'd be happy if you wound up with what vapeescape is calling a Riva 510 kit. Those are ~100 mAh batts and are about the same size as a long analog cigarette.

510 only describes the thread count/connector size.

The 1100 Riva batt I just got from LFUSA is called a Riva UNC on their site, but a Hello-UNC Riva in the "instruction" manual (obviously translated from Chinese) that comes with the device. It's about an inch longer, and a tad thicker than the 650 mAh batts that come with the LF Riva starter kit. It last me well over a day of steady vaping, but they are twice as expensive and (AFAIK) they don't have a lock-out sequence to disable the button like the Riva 650 mAh batts do.

In your position, I'd go with this L... kit, these L... cartos, and a handful of their 5 ml sample bottles you think you may like. (avoid cocunut!). That gets you started, but plan on ordering some 30 ml bottles of the juices you like within a week or two.

Happy vaping!

Exactly what I wanted to read Snakefarm, thank you.

Any recommendations on the 5ml sample bottle flavours? So far Ive picked a tobacco blend and mixed fruit.

Is it true that most people tend to move away from tobacco flavours once they get vaping and start going down the alternative routes like fruit/choc/caramel etc?

In addition, the 5ml sample bottles on LF.co.uk - there's a significant price difference between PG and VG. I spotted on the vapeescape website, they were selling small bottles of PG and VG mixed like 60/40 and 70/30 so that certainly appealed to me.

From the reviews I've read, e-juice flavors are a highly subjective matter. My favorites from LFUS are Black Clove, Blueberry, and Double Mint. The Black Clove is a tobacco blend, but only has a hint of tobacco that makes it taste like the cigarette of the same name (Djarum Black). I also like the Fruit Mix and the Pineapple, both with which I was compleatly prepared to be disappointed. I got some Cappuccino and some Coconut that I DID NOT like at all. They are going into my "try again in a few months" box.

I really think that as a persons sense of taste returns from not smoking analogs, they my find they enjoy new flavors, and don't care for things they once liked a great deal. When smoking analogs, I really like wassabi on my sushi, but can't stand the stuff now, or on the previous occasions when I've quit for over a few weeks.

On the PG/VG thing, I still kind of confused. To my understanding, you only need VG if PG irritates you somehow. So far, I have no problems with PG, so I'm sticking with it, but to be honest, I have not given the matter much attention.
