Welcome to ECF!
Sadly, or not you decide, there are a lot of Americans on these forums. Being the ignorant stereotype for a change, I can't seem to a finger on what SG means. It's Singapore I assume, right? Be sure to put Singapore in your location (under profile) so that people don't get confused.

I'm sure there are ways to get the e-cig to you, but I don't know of the laws regarding shipping/import/possession in your area. I can't guarantee you can, but if so, I'm sure you'll find how here.

Good luck, and enjoy your time here.

Wow! Tommyn, where are you from? Wherever you are, united states are trying to go the same way. They are trying to take all of our freedoms away. We have a very bad president who hates the U.S.. Everytime he goes abroad he apoligizes for being an american. He is bad for our country,I hope he goes away soon,or we will be like you,not able to buy what we need.

Well our new president wants us to pay for the people that do not work!I make 17 dollars an hour, but when I see my check,I could go crazy on the government! They take almost halfe in taxes! And the new president wants more! He thinks we should share,I think not! You make your money,I will make mine! This new president will not last long,my greatest hope is he will be impeached! He is way to communist leaning,I do not consider him my president.

Your mom said not to say...
First off welcome to the site, secondly on the political side you can't fault Obama for having a difficult time cleaning up after a decade of that idiot and war criminal Bush in office and then the republicans playing childish games instead of working to make things better. You can't fix 2 terms of having a idiot run the country in one year I don't care who you are, JFK couldn't have done any better in this climate.

As for the Singapore government and laws they have been pretty much a socialist regime for a long time. You can be arrested for speaking out in public against the government, I know I have been there a few times. While they state publicly that they are a democracy it is really a far cry from a true democracy and America is turning into 1930's Germany as we speak yet no one said a word while Bush was taking away our rights. Last time I was in Singapore chewing gum was still illegal to import because dissidents and students would put the chewed gum on the train door sensors and screw them up thus screwing up the train times and whatnot along with their no littering policy. At least that is the story I was told at the time. There was also a dude who had been caught bringing in something like a 1000 hits of E into the country and was sentenced to death for it, and he was dead before I left the country a month later. They don't play around over their and they are strict. Having said that though, it is a beautiful place to visit and you can have a great time in the quay area at all the bars and restaurants. The fine hotels like Raffles which I stayed in and the home of the Singapore Sling, or the Stamford Westin I believe which is right around the corner and another fine hotel that I stayed in. Overall a beautiful if crowded place with friendly people that will tell you what you want to hear in an attempt to be helpful. Not always for the best but you can't fault them for trying, lol!

Currently in Singapore, I am using the Electronics Vaporizer eGo Well know names as E-Cig but i would say that we have to change the name of the e-cig as is no longer looks like cigarettes. So E-vaporizer is a good name. Well i been using for more than half a year and have no problem even i went into HSA, i told them that this is not E-cig, and it is E-vaporizer and is different than the traditional Models, well they did buy that and so i still happily vaping till now.
i would say that Government comes out a law stating that E-cig is Ban but they don't know why is it ban, I show them the facts and show them the ingredient of E-liquid (without Nicotine), they told me the liquid is ok. then the Device, they told me that the device don't look like cigarettes and hence is not under their care so i get them back without any fine.

If any Singaporean out there looking at this Post, you must stand up for our Singapore. Prove to our Government that the Electronics Vaporizers is doing great for the Ex-smokers like me and you and you must share with your friends and let our Singapore Vapors Community get bigger. Currently i have more than 50 friends have quit smoking and start vaping but for some at least they smoking lesser. hope that We singapore will give our True feedback and rather to listen to the goverment that the E-cig is harmful. I thought tobacco already the most harmful but they still selling? they are not at the standing to win point. <hey...where my Lawyer contact?>

Zeroi,

You make the best point in this entire post, and that is to disassociate the term "e-cig" from the products. That term cigarette carries so much criticism with it, and leads to people objecting to the Vaporizers just because of the name.

I'm all for BANNING - the "e-cig" name that is.

George

Thanks You, I Seriouly don't like the name E-Cig-<- this is old name for the very first design and it still let us think of Cigarette.
Let Call it Electronic Personal Vaporizer, since there is no smoke and doesn't even look like Cigarette.
I have caculated and believe thru me and my Friends etc, close to <xx> have used this Vapourizer.
80% of My Friends (some online) have the success of Quitting tobacco Smoke. how i wish they could really post here as well.

BTW, please help spread the words, Singapore is Small and Vapers Club is Small too, I hope to gather more Singaporean Vapers who have Quit Smoking Tobacco.
Singapore have a SG Vaper Club, I sincerely invite u to join.

i doubt Singapore is not going to approve the e-cigarette although its looks like they increase the price of cigarette every year and told us that it for our own good so that we will think twice b4 we going to buy the cigarette and maybe we will try to quit but who will really think of that qus when u really feel like taking a puff? I think they only wan to make huge profit out of it if not they will not put a SDPC mark on our cigarette just to prevent us not smoking their cigarette.
By introducing the e-cigarette think they will lose lots of profit in it and if i will the government i will not let this thing to happen. maybe implement law for the NEA to caught ppl smoking e-cigarette as well. this thing will happen sooner or later. just a matter of time. Cheer Singapore

Yes of Cos, They have to Bann the E-Cig. If they don't bann, Many of those China or not known Brand e-cig will just surface and create many Health Issue in Singapore.
I now truely understand why Janty Created Design apart from Cigarette Design. If you wanted to Quit Smoking, first of all, have something that doesn't look like Cigarette, but feels like Smoking. having to buy from across our Singapore Bridge Doesn't means that is Safe to use.

HSA Officer once say to me that the Product should not resemble a Tobacco Cigarette. and that is how my Janty eGo have been with me since Feb 2010. And so far, many of my friends have been using it and i don't see any much of the issue here.
First thinks these when u wanna buy E-Cig (PV=Personal Vapourizer)
You wanna Quit Smoking?
You wanna Quit Tobacco and using Subsitube?
You wanna look Cool when Vaping among the Others Smoking?
You wanna have Nincotine Kick in which having a Healthier way? (Vapourizer will be best Choice)
Many people called E-Cig
W.H.O (World Health Organization) named them under E.N.D.S (electronic Nicotine Delivery system) <what if there's no nincotine?>
I think we really just name them and remember E.P.V (Electronic Personnal Vaporizer)
As for Tobacco SDPC mark for Singapore, this is to ensure that when NEA check, they can fine the Smokers easily, well anyway i not into that issue as i don't Smoke anymore or even buy Singapore Cigarette.

Currently the Law Stated that E-Cig is illegal. there are no legal way to import them in. is up to u to make the order, if the orders get block, then it will just end up in HSA. so just face the music, explain to them the benefits, if they buy that u get it back. but take note that nicotine is not allow and have to be prescript by doctor.
I using Janty Liquid, to me i fine with the Polar Mint
hey guys from sg. do you know any website that sell good e-juice and can send to Singapore? i currently using HC juice and i dont know its consider good or bad. any idea which website?
