When you insert the tank, make sure you are holding it vertical with the mouth piece down. Slide it up into the cone and press until you get a click or at least feel it fully engage. There should be no visable gap between the cone and the mouth piece.

Also, when you install the atomizer, place it into the cone first, then screw the cone base on. This seems to help make sure the atomizer is properly aligned. You will get some condensation at times, but that is just how vaping is. I have had my -C for over a month now and haven't had a single leak.

I love my Stardusts.

But I started with the Ego C kit.
I found to make sure you're not having leaking with the cartridges, make sure you hear the 'snap' when you push the cartridge into the atomizer.
The 'lip' of the cartridge should fit snug onto the surrounding metal tube.
If the cartridge doesn't snap in and fit snug, you won't have a seal and it'll leak...

I too have an ego-C and was experiencing leaking problems. I have switched the 'top' to a silicone cap. And I think to myself, that silicone reacts to heat - so I use a new silicone cap when I hear that gurgling sound which indicates flooding. I also don't vape until the ego-C gets "hot" to the touch. I bought my kit in November and I'm still using the first 3 atomizers. I haven't figured out how to "clean" them - see a lot of videos on cleaning - but still getting good vapor. I clean the ego-c parts everyday and think that that process helps the longevity. Could it all be in my head? Dunno - but their still working!

Before I put a batter on the charger, I will wipe the top posts with a q-tip or at least a paper towel. It's more moisture than leaking, but still best to keep it clean and dry when it goes on teh charger. Every so often if I get bored I'll disassemble the cone and run paper towel in on both sides. I figure clean equipment is happy equipment.

Hi and welcome!

As to your tank leak. I highly recommend the silicone caps, and I have never had to replace a silicone cap.
You will get a lot of condensate in the cone, so don't mistake this for a leak. Just wipe up and keep vaping.
I keep cotton swabs (Q tips) in my kit just for cleaning up the cone and contacts...

The only time that I seem to get real leaks, is if it's just too hot of weather. Then the liquid gets thin enough to flow through the atty, and all the way out the air holes. I use thicker vg juices to help with this, but sometimes I still get a leak in extreme temps.

Some of the guys here can recommend some great tanks etc. that will be more leakproof...I just haven't gone down that road yet...

Thanks Screwbag for warm welcome, and your replies is very much appreciated :)

yep, my tanks all have silicon caps when i first received the set.

my friend whom i bought my new set of eGo-C from told me 2 things: once plugged in, try not to twist the cartridge. And when vapping, do it slow with long suction, but not drag to fast or hard.

guess i probably vape it the wrong way (...-smoker way) LOL!

will take some time to get use to 'correctly' vape it, and i try not to twist the tank when it is in my jean' pocket becoz i notice the tank will twist if i walk too 'rough' LOL!

in singapore the daily daytime temperature is... between 30ºC - 35ºC... *sweat

I had the same problem the first couple of days. As it turned out, I was sucking too hard on my tip. I was trying to act as if it were a real cig. Once I used slower, more consistent 'draws', I stopped having the leakage problem...

Thanks danalfoster for your reply :)

The leaking problem seems to be getting less, seems that i have to draw it slow and long.

There's nothing wrong at all with the eGO C except the tank/ delivery system that comes with it. Once you go to a clearomizer or cartomizers delivery system you will be impressed with the eGo.
Good Luck.
