hey everyone! so, Ive got three tanks....an Iclear 16, a vivi nova v-fate, and a kanger protank mini....and obvs, wondering what the best method is for cleaning them and then, drying them! really hate to hafta wait 24 hours to make sure everything is dry to sample my new flavors.

wondering because, even though ive just put a new coil in my kanger two days ago -- and ive only filled it a few times since then -- when my new flavors came today, the first one I tried in the kanger I cant really taste at all. boooo, so, thinking it probably needs a good cleaning, and I'll try again before writing this one off as just a bad flavor.

Also curious....my boyfriend, who has been vaping longer than I have but not by much, and has given me bad info in the past, says a dry burn kills the life span of your coil/atty. true or false?

thanks for the advice!

Don't have a vivi or an Iclear.

Kanger you don't have to wait to use. Once rinsed with water you can blot off or blow out a good deal of the moisture from the wick, reassemble, fill and vape. The first few hits will be pretty weak as you steam the remaining water from the wick, but after 2 to 4 good draws you will be back to full flavor.

All I do with the protank mini is disassemble it, run all the pieces individually under warm water, blow out any holes or tubes with my mouth to get the water out of them, blow on the rubber grommet on the head to get the water out from under it, dry everything with a paper towel, assemble the tank, give it a few blows inside of it with a hair drier to make sure it's completely dry inside, then dry burn the head and you're good to go. Sounds like a lot but takes about five minutes once you get the hang of it.

thanks so much! Ive never attempted a dry burn before. the one time I was about to my boyfriend stopped me with the ( again dont know if its really true) info that dry burns hurt the lifespan of your coils/atty. def not trying to buy any more coils/attys than i have to.

Anyways, thanks again! so much!

I dry burn frequently. Make sure you rinse afterward or it'll taste burnt and AWFUL. It'll go away, but rinsing helps a lot. I don't necessarily let mine dry out either, unless I'm doing several coil heads and they sit. New liquids may not taste great right away, so you can always let them sit a few days or longer. The flavor almost always gets better with time.

i got a pro tank and nova just rinsing with warm water is all you need and pat try. fill it and vape awake. but keep in mind like already mentioned first few hits will be steam. no big deal.

new juices especially mt baker (not saying they are bad just made to order and need to be steeped) that are made to order you'll probably need to steep. everyone has their own method. i like to shake them up, take off the cap and the little nipple thing and hide them in a dark cupboard or drawer for a day or two. each day covering the top with a finger and shaking them up. then put the top back on and hide it another 4-when ever day's. then vape and if it doesnt take ready yet keep hiding it away in the dark. order stuff in big quantity's from cheaper places that need to be steeped and save your self some money this way ;)
