First off welcome to ECF. Second I would recommend getting a unit that has a larger battery than what others are recommending, something that takes 18650. That will last you about a day and a half. At least it does with me when I use my aw 2900 mah batteries.

As far as liquid nic level. buy yourself a bottle of 100mg/ml diy pg base from somewhere like Organic Nicotine Solution - 100mg/ml. That way you can increase your nic dosage at least a small amount.

As far as quantity of liquid, you can use carto tanks for the cheap, or you can get a rebuildable unit that contains your desired amount. You can check over in the classies and, if you are lucky, pick one up.

Cheers in your adventure.

In my opinion, the best way to go is the Joye Ego-C. It's simple to use, easy to maintain, the parts for it are reasonably priced, and the size is perfect (a great compromise between battery life and form factor). I personally shop at cignot.com. You can find a starter kit there for a solid price and the customer service is excellent. Also, check out their passthrough battery options. While a fully charged battery usually lasts me a full day, I find the ability to connect my ecig to any usb based power source to be a real life saver in a pinch.

Best of luck on your decision!

How is an ego on par with a Kgo and E-Power which are 3.7 volt models and 1000+ mAh batteries when the ego is the small 3.4 volt/650 mAh battery?? Why pay the same or more for less??

After narrowing down my choices between the eGo with PCC and 2 1000mAh batts (which seemed pretty sweet) and the KGO starting kit, I've finally decided upon purchasing the KGO starter from nwvapors as my first PV. I know in a couple months I'll likely be stepping up into something with a generic battery, but I was a bit intimidated to give those a whirl for my first time. I feel like the KGO will be a solid first purchase since both batteries provided offer a combined 2200mAh, more than enough to get me through the day with 0 charging. Plus that kit is surprisingly inexpensive, leaving me plenty of extra funds to buy tons of juice!

I just have a couple last questions. Out of curiosity, does anyone know of PCCs (like the eGo PCC, which says it will hold 1000mAh eGo batts) that will hold KGO (1100mAh) batteries? I like the idea of a carrying case that can act as a charger, it seems really convenient.

Secondly, does anyone know if a large eGo carrying case will hold an assembled KGO, and if not, does anyone know of good carrying cases that will?

I really appreciate all the help guys!

I think you'll be happy with your choice of the Kgo Mavryk - I don't know of anyone making a PCC for that type of unit and doubt you would find one nessasary anyway, the bats should last more than a day on each charge. nwvapors has an eGo case that should work perfectly for your Kgo unit - EGO / KGO E-Cig Large Hard Sided Zipper Carrying Case - $7.95

Don't forget the juice! Happy vaping :vapor:

Welcome to ECF & Congratulations on your decision to switch to vaping! I don't believe there's such a thing as a PCC for eGo-type batteries. There's an Ovale link here with a (supposedly) eGo 1000mAh pass-through batt. for $29.99: Batteries - ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE (e-cigarette) :: ego-C, changeable system, ego-T, elips, liquid, juice, accessories I guess the only real advantage to that other than using it to vape while charging is it could be charging with atty, carto or tank attached to save a few seconds' time. Otherwise I believe the KGO 1100mAh batteries are quite a bit cheaper.

Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Good choice on the Kgo over the eGo.

Just put in my first order(s)! When reading threads in this forum I heard about rawrvapor so I decided to buy my first juice there. I bought two 10ml bottles what looks like their two most popular flavors, strapple and hawaii sunrise, one in 18mg and one in 24mg so that I can figure out what I prefer. If neither are strong enough I'll definitely be looking into that organic nicotine juice to spruce up my liquids.

All told I'm starting out with the KGO starter, a 3.5ml vision clearomizer (1.7ohm), a large ego carrying case, a USB car adaptor, and two 10ml bottles of juice from rawrvapor.

I don't have a good feel for how much juice is "enough" yet but I'm hoping the 20ml plus the 6 pre-filled carts in the starter will be enough. Anyone know how long that should last me if I'm an "average" vaper?

Next time I get paid I'll definitely be going on a juice buying spree, all the flavors at rawrvapor look delicious; and also I'll be swinging over to smokeless image to get me a volt to use as a backup/spare. I can't thank everyone enough for their input and encouragement and for answering questions, this forum is the best.

They're out there. I know Cignot carries one, as well as several other companies. They're usually priced anywhere between $25 and $50 depending on who you buy from. I don't about safety issues, but I would imagine they're compatible with the KGO as well. Same connection, right?

A general rule of thumb is 100mah=1 hour of vaping. Of course, as with most rule of thumbs, that's not always accurate. I'm getting an E-power 14650, which has a 1050mah battery. Actually, the kit comes with 2. The nice thing about that is that they are actually batteries; this means 1) it's much less cumbersome to carry around a spare and 2) it's much cheaper to replace when the battery finally dies.
