Hi all,
My name is Lyssie and I just started vaping. Smoked my last cigarette on Saturday. I have been a smoker forever although I kept it to a pack every two days. I know it's not a bunch but it was still enough to stink and crave all the time! Would love any advice or tips.
I am vaping a Kangertech KBox Mini. I have the tank that came with it and also bought an additional Herakles Plus.
Any advice would be awesome. I feel like such a newb!
Thanks -
Lyssie

Welcome to the ECF family, @Lyssie! Glad to have you here. My best suggestion for you at this point is to read, read, read as many of the posts on here as possible, read all of the stickies (found at the top of each separate forum and to read the blogs, written by some of the really experienced vapers here. You'll find that almost all of any questions you might have will be answered in those sources. If not, then jump in and ask whatever you need to know. There's a wealth pf vaping information here. Glad you found us.

21-24 must be the watts you are vaping at. Ohms is the coils resistance and is displayed on your screen.... The subox mini is paired with the subtank mini which comes with 2 coils when you buy it, 1.2 and a .5 ohm
I am using whichever one came pre-loaded. The lady at the store set it up for me... how do i find out?

Congrats on your choice to stop smoking. I have only been seriously vaping for the past week. I tried last year and didn't get the right gear. Tried to go cheap and ended up costing me more lol. Didn't stop smoking and had a bunch of cheap useless vape gear. The hardest part for me is the hand and Mouth gratification. I was a 3+ pack a day smoker always had one n my hand.

Congrats on quitting Lyssie! Although you may feel like a newbie you are using what for many of us was our 2nd or 3rd round of upgrades. The Subbox Mini is a nice setup. I have one. If you feel the need to upgrade from that, you can safely assume it is now a hobby and not a quit smoking aid :)

Keep reading though, knowledge is power.

Hi and welcome.

One of the reasons I started lurking here before joining was that I'd been given an e pipe as a gift and wanted to upgrade to something better - but knew next to nothing about vaping gear - it all just seemed strange and complicated to me, so I can appreciate how you feel at this stage.

But that really will soon pass and the folk here are friendly and happy to give advice and help. There's also loads and loads of good information on the different forums here.

As I said when I joined I knew very little and thought I was probably too old to learn - now I even squonk, drip and build coils and wicks - I didn't even know you could do these things before I joined!
